I highly recommend them, especially for summertime use. The cooling sensations from both are very enjoyable.

Super close shave tonight. Tabac really lets me dig in with that Injector. No weepers, no nicks, no abrasions, just smooth skin. Still not sure of the smell but, my word that Tabac protects.

 

I can't believe I am saying this about an Axe product but they are really pretty excellent products. I don't find the face wash to be all that cooling, perhaps a little bit. The gel is quite cooling, on par with aqua Velva, perhaps a bit more. The skin care is superb however. I am very happy with both products. crackstar definitely knows what he speaks of. The two Axe products, along with Bigelow cream and Osage Rub is what I will use if I ever do a menthol Monday.

I suggested the Proraso White soap for a very good friend of mine here and this morning I decided to practice what I preach, and I'm glad that I did. Man, is this stuff ever wonderful. It has such a nice scent with rich, creamy lather, and I find the newer version seems to be more mentholated than the older one. It also gives sensitive skin a lot of loving care. The Svoboda balsam is a big keeper for me, and how can I forget the great Mr Rubby Dubby? This shave will make my barber eat his heart out - I'm going for a haircut and a manicure.

Continued fantastic experience with the Gillette Old razor. Super smooth again. Mild sting from the peppercorns in the Ogalla I suspect. Nice fresh feeling.

Great lather and the brush performed beautifully. Only my second shave with the 1912, I'm beginning to love this razor.

 

This my first shave with this razor. It's been laying around the house for a couple of years and I finally cleaned it up and put an edge on it. The shave this morning was superb but...... I swear you can watch this razor rust right before your eyes. There wasn't a spot on this razor before the shave. Look closely at the bottom 1/3 of the blade in the photo, it was a post shave pic, you can see the spotting already. I noticed this while honing the razor and cleaned it up before the shave, lol. I guess it was worth the effort, at least I got a great shave. Anyway, I like the styling of these types of blades. Have a good one.

Last shave at the home base. Tomorrow morning (extremely early) I head for Florida for a few days. (hence the Florida Water) The good part is on my way home I'll stop off and see all my kids and Grandkids in Missouri for a few days. (the Fatherland) lol We are going to have a three generations shave; me, my Son and my Grandson! How cool is that!

It was another great 2 pass DFS from my old buddy! I'm glad I pulled it out, I honestly just love the look of it! The craftsmanship is very beautiful on these old razors. The shave was fantastic! I love this soap, not only does it smell amazing, but it feels like a nice cushion when you lather it on! I did have to stop part way through my second pass though, Ruby started fussing so I brought her in the bathroom with me where she happily slept throught the rest of my shave.

Right now I am anxiously planning tomorrow's shave! You'll all find out soon enough, the reason for that...
