    Jayaruh WC1 Silver Tip
Ever-Ready 1924 w/ short Brass Center Punch Handle
    GEM Super Stainless
    CWR, Asma Alum Block
    Thayers Lemon WH
    Pinaud Clubman

The Kiss My Face Cool Mint moisture shave face-lathered well with my Jayaruh WC1 Silver Tip Brush. Two passes with my Ever-Ready 1924 SE razor and a GEM Super Stainless blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Lemon WH and then Pinaud Clubman after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Schick E2 Injector with Schick blade (2),
    Semogue 1305 boar bristle brush,
    lather-up with Tabac – shave 1 pass,
finish with cold water, Witch Hazel
and Pinaud Clubman Bay Rum for a CCS!

I love to shave. It's as simple as that. Wet-shaving is just as revelatory and fun as when I started a few years ago. Aces!

Here's my shave plan for Thursday:

Neutrogena Men Facial Wash :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:
    Large Horsehair Barbershop
    Super Speed/Sharp day 4
Egyptian Palmolive Menthol SC :love055: :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:
Gold Bond Moisturizer :love055: :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:
Osage Rub AS :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:
    Chabrawichi 555 Cologne

Thank goodness I had an excellent shave this morning without any issues. My prep and technique were both perfect, so all went well. Although the Egyptian version of Palmolive Menthol is nowhere nearly as powerful as a Glacial soap, it's powerful enough to satisfy my menthol needs very nicely. This cream has the same lather and skincare as the Italian version but the scent is completely different. The Gold Bond moisturizer and the Rubby Dubby Doo are waiting to give me a tremendous face freeze after my shave. The Chabrawichi 555 cologne is also from Egypt and very pleasantly-scented. That cologne sells for VERY cheap in Egypt - in fact I remember paying less than 2 bucks for a big bottle when I was in Cairo in 2001. ;) :D

I think you could start a thread with sort of a "Where's Waldo" theme. You could take a pic of a landscape and "hide" your brush and razor.

Looking forward to tomorrow morning's shave as I have two new additions to the shave den. The Edwin Jagger XL Silvertip Fibre and the ShaveWorks shave bowl as seen below. The shaves I have been receiving from the Rocket HD have been fantastic and really glad I added this razor to my collection.

March Focus - Vintage and Carbon
    March 11, 2015 - Week 2 Day 4
Prep - Hot shower and towel
    Brush - Omega Pro 48
    Soap - Arko
    Razor - '59 SuperSpeed
    Blade - kai-stainless.jpg (1)
Post - RazoRock Alum & Aqua Velva Ice Blue

Change up today since the Durasharp carbon died yesterday. Decided to use the Kai Stainless blade the remainder of the week as I have never tried it. Found it wouldn't fit into the Aristocrat. I've had blades fit a bit tight in the 'crat before but never just refuse to load. So, to stay vintage and TTO, I switched to my '59 Superspeed (birth year). The Kai fit perfectly and the shave was marvelous. I know these are sharp blades, usually considered just slightly less sharp than a Feather, but paired with the SS it was smooth, close, and a two pass almost, missed the baby by THIS much, DFS. In fact I thought I had the baby until a couple of minutes after when I found two tiny spots that just disqualified it. Alum was silent and the AV blue refreshing. A great shave!

    SOTD March 11
    Prep: Proraso Green pre-shave
Brush: Omega Boar 10066 and Muhle HJM synthetic
    Blade: Wade & Butcher 4/8
    Soap: Mike's Rose & Cedarwood
    Post: Home-mix bay rum aftershave

I know, why did I use two brushes? Well, since I got the Plisson I've been ignoring these two, and though they both deserved the attention. As much as I like both the HJM and Mike's, both are up for sale in the classifieds right now, since I'm looking for other things.

One razor to rule them all
I really like my Gillette New LC, Aristocrat, and iKon SC101, but today's shave blows away any I've gotten with those or any other razor. Der Vorschlaghammer (Merkur 39c) is the razor for me. I get closer and more comfortable shaves with it than any other I've tried. My cheeks are so smooth, and my neck feels great because I can skip a pass there due to the efficiency of this razor.
I used my favorite spring scented soap today - B&M Ferox. I love the peppery grapefruit, and the skin care of tea tree oil. I paired it with CH Sherlock and I think it's a very nice combination.
    Prep: Proraso White
    Soap: B&M Ferox
    Brush: HIS
    Razor: der Vorschlaghammer
    Blade: Voskhod (1)
    AS: Chiseled Face Sherlock

    Thursday's Shave

Prep: Hot shower w/ Grandpa's Pine Tar
    Soap: Mama Bear's Amber Romance
    Brush: Omega 13522
Razor: '46-'50 Gillette Heavy Gold Tech
    Blade: store brand Israeli Personna
Post: Witch Hazel, Nivea Sensitive Balm
    Scent: Pinaud Clubman

Woke up late this morning so no picture. I love the Amber Romance scent but I'm not sure about the performance. I get a decent, slick lather out of it, but it doesn't seem very protective. Decent 2 pass shave with some minor irritation.
