    Stirling Coniferous
    Parker best badger
    Muhle R41 ('11) Personna blue
    Cold water/alum
    Captain's Choice Lime

The Stirling soaps that I have are truly top performers. Every shave is a pleasant experience from beginning to end. The scents (Bay Rum, MITA, and Coniferous) are really nice, and they whip up a dense, slick lather with minimal effort. It's a great way to begin any day.

If you have never tried TSD Iced SubZero AS Splash, you probably should! I felt the need today for some extra skincare and will be using it later!

    Have a great Thursday evening!

    Dove Men Face Wash
    Williams Mug Shaving Soap
Jayaruh #6 High Mountain Badger (first shave)
    Dad's Schick E3
    Personna Stainless
    CWR, Asma Alum Block
    Thayers Rose Petal WH
    Barbasol Brisk

The Williams Mug Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #6 High Mountain Badger brush. Two passes with my Dad's Schick E3 razor and a Personna Stainless blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Rose Petal WH and then Barbasol Brisk after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Happy Anniversary to @HolyRollah and your wife. Hope you have many more.:happy096:

    Brush Focus: Day 14/30
Brush: WDC-1 Black Badger, (Whipped Dog knot).
Gillette Super Speed, A3 Flare Tip (1955)
    Gillette Platinum Blade (7)
    Bowl: KO Shave
    Soap: Jack's Soap
    AS: RE9 Post Shave Balm
    Old Spice Coffee Mug.

Back to the beginning for my brushes. This is an amazing brush that loads well and applies an outstanding lather to my face. Have nothing negative to say about this brush. Seventh day for the Gillette Platinum Blade. I have been very happy with the performance of this blade. The Gillette SS Flair Tip(1955) is a joy to use. I will change Gillette's tomorrow and load a new Platinum blade.

Interested to know how you like the High Mountain Badger knot. Also do you have a specific depth you set your knots, or does it vary with each individual knot?

I have a HMB in my #4 brush, and I really like it. That is why I got this one. I will be having my first shave with it tomorrow. I set the knot so it has a loft of 50 mm. I just used my Dremel to tweak the hole size until I got the 50 mm loft. I think more than 50 mm and the knot will start getting more floppy.

    Big Ben blade
    Aramis soap

Slow and easy 2 pass BBS. Followed up with Lucky Tiger lotion and some splashed-on Aubrey North Woods deo. Wish I'd thought of that sooner, I now have a new a/s and smell quite wonderful, if I say so myself.

Here are my shaving plans for Friday morning:

Neutrogena Men Facial Wash :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:
    Large Horsehair Barbershop
    Super Speed/Dorco day 5
Stirling Glacial Wintergreen SS :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:
Stirling Glacial Wintergreen AS Balm :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:
Stirling Glacial Wintergreen WH :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:
    JHL Cologne

It's just no use - my addiction to these Stirling Glacial soaps won't end any time soon. Every time I try to choose even a mentholated soap from another artisan, I end up putting it back and taking out a Glacial one. I'm going with the Wintergreen which is a certified face-freezing menthol atom bomb with such an awesome scent and great lather. The matching aftershave balm and witch hazel are both enough to just about give you frostbite. I'm beginning to think I might have to throw away the Dorco blade after this shave unless it does a really good job. ;) :D

A nice weekend to everyone in advance. :)

Here's a You Tube video of an old song that my grandmother used to sing to me when I was a young kid!

    May 14 SOTD:

    Homemade PS Oil
WD High Mountain Badger 30 mm
    TSD Lanolin Egyptian Spice
    EJ Chatsworth Barley
    Bluebird blade
    Stirling Unscented PSB
    TOBS Sandalwood AS

This was my first use of the 30 mm WD. I like the brush, but will have to spend a little time figuring it out. Shave was good, and I seem to have had good success with the Bluebird.
