Cool photos. I love the soap label. Hopefully it is as good as the artwork!

I looked up the soap and cannot find this one anywhere. Seems like it was only made for a period of time and now isn't made anymore.

After you watch Prometheus, read the following and prepare to have your mind blown.

Oh, it absolutely is. It's MLS!

Well, yes and no. It was a limited run (twice) for the TSM FB group. They intend to make it a regular offering next year. It's essentially MLS's reworking of the discontinued Pantie Dropper which, in turn, is an homage to Drakkar Noir.

1st time using the India soap and aftershave, it is a nice version and slightly different than shulton and p.g. A little unique, much more alcohol and it burned, but in a good way...It is a nice after shave, also glass is a plus..

No photo today but I used my norm with one change. I got a sample of cryogen and boy was it good! I had watery eyes from the menthol load of this one. I have to say I might be buying a tub of the stuff in the next week. It was AWESOME!

That reminds me. I have the Indian Rubicon Old Spice Aftershave in the red plastic bottle. I am considering an Old Spice shave tomorrow. I think I will roll with the Indian Old Spice I got off of Ebay. I will also use the tiny OS cologne splash bottle that I got from Ebay in another purchase that came in a set that was made just before P&G started using that weak sauce cologne sprayer.

Although today's shave was very good, in fact it was BBS and comfortable, something seemed to be missing. I've gotten so used to using Stirling soaps that whenever I use anything else with the exception of a couple of other soaps or creams, my skin seems to lack the extra care it needs. The Sottozero soap lathered extremely rich, thick, as well as dense and gave me its mild menthol effect but I'd only rate it around a 7.3 in the skincare department which I guess is still pretty decent. The Proraso Green aftershave splash on the other hand, beefed up the cooling and added lots of needed comfort. I'll be using a new Gillette Wilkinson in the Super Speed for this coming week.

    Wishing y'all a great Sunday!

I made up my mind finally. No other Old Spice variants can even come close to the Shulton ones.

    Today's shave
Hot water wash with donkey milk grisi and a washcloth
    Parker silvertip
    Stirling Blu
    Parker Variant (4)
    Persona lab (3) white wrapper
Ralph Lauren Polo Blue aftershave gel/cologne
Today's shave was nice. I washed with a donkey milk soap, smelled nice and felt like it softened well. Parker silvertip made tons of lather. Three passes with the variant on 4, very smooth, one little weeper on my strong side neck (guess i softened too much). But other than that, I'm good. Finished with polo blue a/s and cologne. Very nice shave.
Church today, y'all come with me. 20170521_083541_resized(1).jpg

    Mastro Livi CarboInox USA

Mastro Livi CarboInox will never stop amazing and charming me. First of all for the incredible performance in shaving, always giving a super smooth shave with a super cutting edge. Secondly, for the mesmerizing look Mastro Livi gives to his CarboInox blades. This one is a "simple" pattern with carbon steel plaques in the outer layers while the middle cutting layer is made of stainless steel. Then the scales of this beautiful straight razor. They are made of natural buckeye burl with a lovely insert of the USA flag made of coral (red) fossil mammoth ivory (white) and lapis lazuli (blue). A masterpiece or beautiful elegance with a great performance in shaving. When art meets craftsmanship. Excellent job, Mastro Livi!
