First go w/ shavette... 5.17.2010 hot shower hot towel and lather prep Parker SR2 shavette/ 7 AM blade OBR Bay Rum and Sandalwood soap Marvy boar brush Cold water splash wet towel M & L Florida Water AS Nivea Aftershave balm Well friends, my first go with the Parker SR2 was generally successful. Got a good shave bordering on DFS after 3 passes. I'll be trying to get the hang of holding the razor for a while. I also came away with world class razor burn. But I kind of expected that. Little to no blood, maybe a weeper in one spot. Finally shaved my underchin and neck pretty well! I'll be keeping at this as I didn't shave off my ear or lip and did not loose a lot of blood. I'll post a pic later. Still want to get in on menthol Mondays, but I'm waiting on some menthol stuff!

Being a die-hard Cubs fan I could dispute that. On the other hand when the Cubs play the Cards Wrigley becomes dotted with red. It's a great rivalry. Moving on to the NHL (as a Cubs and Hawks fan it's a much better place for me to be) I ventured to St. Louis for a Hawks/Blues came and saw a ton of red-about 40%.
That TSD "Iced Bourbon Vanilla" sounds good. I just got a sample of the Bourbon Vanilla A/S, and it is already one of my favorites. I'll have to try the "Iced" version next time in either the soap or A/S.
When two great sport cities meet, it's always a great game. That's good for everyone! I still have my Red Cardinal cap that I wear when I'm watching the games!

It has the same kind of rich, thick lather that the Godrej creams have, it's very cooling, soothing, and it smells clean and nice. The Anherb conditioner is in a class by itself--I absolutely love it.

Gillette Gold Ball End Tech Dorco ST-301 - corked and hand stropped (1) TSD Monkey Farts SS Cold Water Splash Alum Block TSD Monkey Farts AS Four passes: WTG, XTG, XTG, ATG = BBS! Solid 5 Blade Shave! I have tried many blades and am going to make the Dorco ST-301 my main blade for now. The TSD Monkey Farts SS and AS are a great tropical fruit smelling combo! Tuesday Gillette New open comb Lord Super Stainless Omega 10066 boar Proraso Green s/c M & L Florida Water a/s Bigelow Black e de c Couple of firsts this shave. The Gillette came from a collectables shop up in the Kawarthas, along with a stand and brush in gold finish. I cleaned off a lot of verdigris and the little gold that remained and and was left with a handsome copper and brass open comb razor. This is the first shave with it, and definitely not the last. :happy005 This was also my first time out with the Lord Super Stainless blade and I was pleased with the results. It gave a close and iritation free shave.
Coffee-Costa Rica Tarrazu-NJ roasted Razor-Merkur 38C Blade-Treet for 2 passes, Dorco 301 for final pass Brush-24mm Silvertip Cream-Trumpers Coconut SC Post-Dickenson's Hazelet pads AS-TSD Iced Mojito Milk 3 blades today, due for a stinker. That Treet blade which served so well yesterday in the Gillette New pulled and tugged in the 38c. The Dorco rescued the shave and gave a nice 3d pass.
