    Omega Wooden Handle
    Goodfella/Sharp day 3
    Park Avenue Cool Blue-SC :happy005 :happy108
    Arko Aqua-AS Gel :happy005 :happy108
    Lubriderm unscented moisturizer
    Arko Aqua-Cologne :happy005 :happy108

Another nice shave with a new cream from India--Park Avenue Cool Blue has rich, thick, stable lather, it smells pleasant, and there's a small menthol sensation. I'll post a review of it later today. ;) :D

Haven't been posting my daily shaves lately as they've not been anything remarkable (just normal DFS). But last night was BBS.
Face: Super Speed w/ Astra SP
Head: Fat handle Tech w/ Dorco ST301
TSD Signature SS, Knotty Erlenmeyer, Alum, TSD ADG Type Splash
I'll also add the Knotty Erlenmeyer brush keeps breaking in and now is holding a full 3-passes of lather.

Razor- (wife got this one for me yesterday-nice surprise)-1967 Gillette black handled
    flair SS.
    Brush-non-named badger with wood handle-about 1940's, about 19mm knot.
    Blade-Dorco 301
    Shave Cream-TOBS Lavendar
    alum block
    After shave-TSD Iced Mojito milk

-SWMBO got brought home this nice razor for me yesterday. It also had an unused Wilkson's blade from England-I hear those are great blades and I look forward to trying it. Tough decision which razor to put it in-Slant? Fat Boy?
Red Tip SS? I'm leaning toward one of my slants but if anybody knows of any razors that match up particulalry well with this blade I'm open to suggestions.

First time out with razor and it's back to the hones. It was too rough to finish with, so I reverted to yesterday's Gillette New/Lord set-up for the final pass.

    Wednesday

Prep: Hot shower, hand strop blade
Coffee: Caribou Coffee, Caribou Blend - hot & black
    Soap: TSD A&F Woods Type
    Brush: C&E Pure Badger
    Razor: 1956 Red Tip
Blade: Astra SP, day 3, 3+ passes
Post: Cold water rinse, ice water splash, Humphreys Maravilla Lotion, Curve
    'Stache Wax: Firehouse Wacky Tacky

    Shave Rating: 3 Blades

Didn't get quite close enough for what I like. History is beginning to show that this is par for the Red Tip - at least with the blades I've used in it. Oh, well. There's always tomorrow!!

The coffee was a birthday gift from my church family. Not a bad brew. I just checked their website and discovered they are the second largest retailer behind Star$$. I didn't know that. I've seen their coffee in supermarkets, but never gave it much thought, as I roast my own.

    Razor: 11/16 Robert Klaas Prussia
    Soap: Williams
    Mug: Vintage Old Spice
    Brush: Medium Badger
    ASB: Nivea Replenishing
Aftershave: Aqua Velva Classic Ice Blue :freezing

Picked up this Robert Klaas "Prussia" razor (with the non-kissing cranes.) ;) Robt. Klaas has a great reputation for quality razors but, I wasn't sure what the Prussia was all about. I'm not sure if there was a Prussian works or it was produced in Germany for export to Prussia. At any rate, it's probably around 100 years old since there hasn't been a Prussia since 1918. It's a great shaver and I am very happy with it! Great shaves shown this morning Gentlemen! :happy005

Thanks 'Hawk! :) It has a few pepper spots but none close to the edge. I just gave it about 10 strokes on the backside of my Celtes Hone and 5 on the front side, 10 on the linen strope and 20 on the leather. It was pretty keen. I did go back to the hone between passes this morning to get it to a little finer edge but, it's all good now! :D

Yeah Man; It's great to see another photographer that knows how to put a shot together and make it happen...I've always been a fan of Bruce's and Bill's and some of the other cats around here whose work has been catching our attention and imagination...With all this talent thats been making the scene here at the Den, maybe we need a TSD calender, or a SOTD coffee-table book of center-folds...What do you think ??

    Razor: Merkur Futur
    Blade: Super Iridium
    Brush: Simfix Grosvenor LE
    Pre-Shave: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
    Soap: D.R. Harris Arlington
    A/S: Alt Innsbruck

The Simfix Grosvenor worked up a nice creamy lather from the Harris soap in no time flat. I enjoyed another excellent shave and the Alt Innsbruck, as always, was a fine finish

I had already whipped up my lather and taken the picture before I remembered the Tryphon Menth-O-Lator Jason (Baloosh) sent to me, a little dab of this frozen menthol wonder in my lathering bowl instantly turned my plain Monkey Farts soap into the Iced version. :happy036 :freezing :freezing :freezing

    hot shower
    clubman shampoo

    merkur progress
    feathers
    generic badger
    ingrams menthol
    clubman musk
    clubman talc

This was a night shave. I had been waiting for an order of Clubman products - shampoo, after shave, travel size after shave, and a sample of hair tonic. I postponed my shave...and as time wore on I became more and more excited. Love the shampoo and love the Musk! I can't put my finger on whats different from the regular Clubman aftershave....but there is a distinction. I really love their products :D I really feel like a Clubman "Clubman" as at least one of their products(aftershave, talc, or shampoo) gets used daily.

    Feather

    Shower
    Hot Towel prep
    Classic Shaving TTO (Parker 80R)
    Feather (1)
    OBR soap
    Cold water splash
    M & L Florida Water AS

My usual setup today with one exception:

I changed my blade from Murker to Feather Hi Stainless in my ClassicShaving TTO (Parker 80R). It was a great shave. Very smooth! I'm understanding what you guys say about blade sharpness. Didn't cut myself either. So, Feathers will certainly go above my Murkers in the rotation.
