Razors-Friodur Str8 edge first pass WTG. Schick Eversharp Injector 2nd-3d Blade-NOS Personna Tungsten Steel Injector (Thanks Martin!) Soap-MWF Brush-$9 Shea Moisture Brush (I like Dridecker Special-maybe it'll stick) Post-Dickenson's Hazelet, TSD ISZ AS Milk -I set out to only do my cheeks with the str8, but inspired by Steve and Bob and a lack of blood I finished the pass. Not the best reduction, but no wounds. I'll continue to go slow. -That Personna Tungsten Injector was fantastic. Blows away the CVS which is the only one I had tried. I have a new enthusiasm for Injectors. The Persona felt Feather sharp-BBS mop up from Str8 attempt. -Special thanks to Martin (Shavingidiot savant) for the Personna and other amazing stuff he lent me. He was going to PIF it and realized we lived a few miles apart so we had a very nice lunch yesterday. Traded some stuff-mostly him lending me some great stuff I've always wanted to try including an Open Comb Aristocrat and a Toggle! -Busy day-Hawks game (not at the game) with a big group of friends -with BBQ, followed by a concert-great band from Austin Texas called "The Asylum Street Spankers." It'll be my 4th time seeing them. Anybody else out there know of them?
lol, I told SWMBO, who is out of town, what I had done and she is not too impressed. Something about, "all the other razors" and "Oh and its gonna save us so much more than the other razor thingys isn't it"............So, I may be waiting a little while before committing to the str8s. Too bad, its very cool.

Perfection Had the Perfect shave today( i know i said it last time but this time i did i swear!) Past few shaves the blade felt like it was dragging so the other day i spent time going over the blade with my coticule. This time taking the time to go slowly and make sure i worked it good. I ever taped the spine to make sure the edge was perfect. After the honeing i dried it off and did 100 passes on newspaper. I read efore that the news paper acts just like using a paste so i gave it a try. The n of course 25 on the canvas and 25 on the leather strop to make the razor ready for shaving. Now for the big moment. I had to see just how this razor was gonna stand the test of my beard of a few days. I lathered up and started on my neck, swiped the blade across my throat and nothing happened. At least i thought nothing happened, the blade had just sliced right through the hair. I was as happy as a fat kid with cake, this razor was my new best friend. I finished off the shave and for the fun of it lathered up all over again and let loose again. No iritation no redness and the shave was amazing Tools for todays shave were: Henckels Friodur 5/8 Omega Brush Trumpers Coconut soap/ DR Harris Lavender soap on the second pass Victoria Secret Very sexy for him aftershave Perfect shave and i owe it all to you guys and your help! P.s Sorry for the novel!
