    Homemade PS Oil
WD High Mountain Badger 30 mm
    Stirling San Antonio SS
    EJ Chatsworth Barley
    Derby Super Stainless
    Stirling Unscented PSB
    Clubman Vanilla AS

The WD brush is really starting to provide some great lather. Between the brush and the Stirling, I had some nice, yogurt like lather with that great candy scent. The soap is fun, the brush soft but with back bone: just a great wake up and start of the day.

Once again I really enjoyed my shave this morning. The Black Ice soap felt very cooling and comfortable. The Derby gave me great BBS results with next to no effort.

today's shave was very nice. premier voyage of my Jayaruh Shaving #7, it performed flawlessly. I washed it yesterday with apawoe shampoo, then three lathers. this morning the funk was almost non-existent. three passes with the progress+ touch up gave me a great shave. finished with iced rush. my face is still cold.
hope y'all did as well, or better.

    Blimey!
I went all in for limes today. The preshave is a bright fresh lime, the soap has a warm lime citrus scent, and the AS has a hint of lime with bay rum. The Colonel easily whipped up thick yogurt from the bloomed soap and I face lathered over the preshave butter. I set the FatBoy on 5 for my face and 3 for my neck. Strangely, my right cheek feels great, but my left cheek is a little irritated. My neck feels great, too, but could be smoother. I will use the same settings for a while to isolate technique from the equation. I ended up putting on some cologne Russe because the scent of CC faded very fast, and the B&M calms my skin nicely.
    Prep: Mickey Lee lime
    Soap: Maggard's Limes and Bergamot

    Razor: 1959 Gillette FatBoy

Simple 1 pass shave this morning. I had a school award assembly last night, so I had a single pass shave to remove the shadow before I left the house, so I only needed a little touch up this morning. The Dusy Kabinett and badger brush made a fantastic face lather and I am almost ready to go today. Since its the last week of school I don't feel like I need to be at school a full hour before the students arrive. So, off for another cup of joe!

This morning I brought out an old friend, Biotique Bio Palmyra is fantastic! Nice light lovely green apple scent, slick, plenty of cushion, very easy to lather, a wonderful cream! Unless you are allergic to peanuts :( which I'm not! :) Red IP's are one of my favorite blades.
A better tomorrow. Takes your best today!

    5/20/15 - Agrume!!

Great shave and combo. Citrus and Basil work.
I usually just do a 2 pass shave with the R41, but have been working mainly on technique and pressure here lately. Went for the 3 pass!!! No cuts or nicks. Ended up with the best BBS I've gotten. Very close!

I am a huge fan of French soaps. The soaps I use regularly in rotation are: unscented MDC (with something else added in for a nice scent), Lavender MDC, Provence Sante, L'Occitane Cade, Le Pere Lucien, and Pre de Provence. My least favorite of these is Pre de Provence (PDP) because it just does not seem to have the cushioning that the others have. The lather I get from PDP soap is weak and unconvincing. I picked up a slightly used tube of PDP cream from a member here and gave it a try this morning. Unfortunately, the PDP cream performed in the same manner as the PDP soap has performed. There is sufficient slickness for me, but there just seems to be little, if any, cushioning effect. I will try again tomorrow, but do not have high hopes. PDP seems to be stuck at the bottom of my favorites. 3 passes and a nice shave, but with some irritation.

Another great shave this morning. Cathie's Bubbles is really easy to use and lather. The scent pairs very well with the CC Sandalwood.

PdP No 63 is much better than the original PdP. I had PdP and after two uses gave it away, I'm very happy with No 63.
