    Thursday:

Merkur Futur / Wilkinson (UK) Blade
    Rooney Finest 2/1
    Valobra soap, grated
Thayer's Rose Witch Hazel w/ 15% grain alcohol
    Clinique Post-Shave Healer
    Knize 10

The grated Valobra is simply outstanding...easy to lather and slick.

    Ever Ready 100T boar
    Godrej Menthol Mist
    Gillette Slim Adjustable (4)
    Super Irridium (thanks superbleu!)
    Thayer's A/F Original
    Extra-mentholated AVIB

:anifrozen :anifrozen :anifrozen :anifrozen :anifrozen :anifrozen :anifrozen

Result: Now that's what I'm talking about! I think I'd have to say that the Godrej Menthol Mist is more cooling than Noxzema. Plus I added more menthol to the AVIB, and now I'd say it's just a hair under (if not equal) to Osage Rub! :anifrozen :happy108 :freezing :happy108 :anifrozen :happy108 :anifrozen :happy108 :freezing

Great shave..... was feeling too sick to shave for the last few days so I really enjoyed today's shave. And I just pulled a piping hot pouding du chomeur out of the oven for tonight's dessert.

What's more mentholated, Lebanese Mentholated Gillette or Godrej Menthol Mist?

Noxzema isn't that cold. Ingram and Kent Red are quite chilly.

But Lebanese Gillette's the coldest I've used.

This breed of Russian Gillette continues to impress me.

    II.

There and here I try a superlather concoction, esp. as a means of using less of my favorite soaps by way of cutting them with a scentless, or virtually scentless, cream.

Arko on Arko was a good mix.

Now, to be absolutely honest, I don't feel today's lather was in any way superior to that which I get when I employ each of these Arko products on its own - but I did notice something significant: I used half the amount of soap I ordinarily would have, half the amount of cream, and got double the amount of lather. Not bad.
