I think the alum is helping the burn. 3 passes best shave yet. B

Unfortunately, it wasn't with me this morning Razor: G1 Injector Blade: Pella injector (day 1) Soap: VDH Luxury Brush: VDH boar Post: alum, witch hazel, TSD signature This was without doubt the worst shave I have ever had with an injector, nicks, scrapes, etc... I knew I had a nick on the first pass which was very odd. However the shave felt fine until the final pass. In the final pass I discovered how poor the first two passes were. The alum burned like crazy. I wonder if I will need to skip shaving tomorrow in order for my skin to heal. Ugh...

Wednesday: Omega Wooden Handle Super Speed/Derby day 5 Nivea SC Tabiano AS Gel :love008 :love008 :love008 :love008 Dolce & Gabbana EDT :love008 :love008 :love008 :love008 The Derby is still managing to give me very smooth and close shaves, and that surprises me--today is the 5th time, and it still has quite a bit of sharpness to it. The newest version of Nivea cream has really good lather and a much nicer scent than the earlier version with very good skincare. The Tabiano gel is fantastic--it has a lot of moisturizing and soothing.

Gillette Aristocrat Wilkinson Sword [1] TGN Silvertip Badger Ingram Shave Cream Neutrogena Post Shave Balm Brut Attitude AS oooooooooohhhhhhhhh that was a great shave. The Ingram's is a really nice cream with just the right amount of menthol for me. Also very cushiony and protective. I've been trying to use/like Erasmic for the last couple days and this just blew it right out of the water. And the Aristocrat is one of the few razors I can do *light* upward passes on my neck with. Result - Very close and Very comfortable shave. They should all be like this. 4.9/5
