Thursday's Shave Hot Shower Arko Shave Stick/couple spritzes of Habit Rouge Omega 10029 1954-58 Eversharp Schick I2 Longs/Personna (Day4) Arko Nem moisturizer/Guerlain Habit Rouge Edt After I rubbed the wet shave stick around my face a few times, I had an impulse to sprey a couple spritzes of Habit Rouge on my face and then hitting it with my wet brush. Now I'm one of those who loves the smell of the Arko Shave Stick but I love Habit Rouge too..So when the Arko exploded into a rich mountain of luxurious Habit Rouge scented lather, I was in heaven... Today in one simple pass I had a great shave...but I still had a brush over-flowing with that great Habit Rouge scented lather so what could I do?? I had to relather and just for fun, do another pass...I had a ball and practiced J-Hooking, and razor buffing, and just enjoyed myself in general... Needless to say, the BBS was out-standing...Many hours later still out-standing...LOL
May, 5 Yesterday's evening shave was so nice, I noticed some tugging, and plan to touch up the razor today. Evelive shave gel as the pre-shave 8/8 W&B restored by Glen Paddle strop Vie-Long horsehair brush Wilkinson Sword soap in a blue bowl Cold water splash Tried to face-lather Wilkinson soap over the gel. It works! The feeling is complex and very nice. Got the parcel from TSD store today! Cannot wait for all-TSD shave today!!!
Hot Shower w/ Bay Rum Soap Musgo Real Glyce Lime Merkur Long Progress(2.5 and touch up at 1) Vulfix 404 Astra SP (2) Tabac SS Witch Hazel Alum Master Bay Rum w/ M-Bomb:freezing The MR GLO makes the progress a little slippery, but being able to dial down for light buffing is worth it. The 404 is finally starting to break in nicely and it just ate up the Tabac. I wasn't super wild about the scent of the Tabac when I first got it, but now its becoming a favorite!

So far this Long's show no signs of dulling...Today nary a Tug, hop, skip, or jump...Still deep in "Hot Knife Through Butter Territory"...LOL.

The Gillette aftershave balsam is VERY cooling and smells fantastic, but it doesn't interefere with an eau de toilette. A super-nice shave today.
