Same setup as yesterday, but with a new Wilkinson blade. Much better, no irritation as of yet, but I scraped my head slightly. My fault wasn't paying full attention during one pass. I found out right away, lol.
Maybe tomorrow I'll try a different blade in the new slant.

My friend, have you tried Fat Handle Tech? Is little bit more agressive then original tech, but very smooth shaver!

Schick G5 Injector with Schick blade (1)
    Barbasol Original,
Finish with cold water, Witch Hazel
    and Captain's Choice Bay Rum,

A two-pass plus for a soothing DFS with the Schick G5 Injector! Thanks BigT!

My first shave with a G5 type. An aggressive but soothing shave! Just one little weeper, but man this little machine shaved so close I could've been happy with one pass. It shaves like my E2's, a little on the aggressive side, maybe slightly more.

    Aces!

The Weber Bulldog handle's extra weight brings the R89 head's performance up to a new level. I think you will love it. Enjoy! :happy088:

    SOTD Wednesday night

Prep: Hot shower, TSD ISZ PSB
    Razor: '53 Super Speed
    Blade: Voskhod Teflon
    Cream: TOBS Sandalwood
    Brush: AOS pure badger
Shave: 4 passes, buffing on chin, j-hooking around Adam's apple
Post: Cold water splash, Thayer's Lavender Witch hazel, Dirty English ASB
    Pomade: Layrite Super-hold
    Cologne: John Varvatos Vintage

This was a fantastic shave. Posting this this morning 11 hours later and I'm STILL BBS! That's awesome! I'm thinking Voskhods are the blade I want now, in addition to Super-max Titaniums. I'm so thankful for all the help I've gotten and the kindness you all have shown, PIFing items to me and helping me out. I could never ever go back to shaving with junk razors and goop.

Everyone take care and be good to each other :)

The tobs was nice but I felt the scent was weak. It's a shame because tobs has some of the best creams. Oh well still a dfs.

Hot shower, Axe chilling facial wash.
    Vulfix 28
Barbiere di`Figaro Esclusivo (Another sample soap form Barbiere di`Figaro, very nice soft soap, lathers with with total ease, great moisturizing, slick left my face feeling clean.)
    Gillette OC/Silver Star (day 4)
    Colonmia Open Road spalsh
The Silver Star performed well on day four, three comfortable passes, resulted in superior DFS.

A most satisfying shave tonight :D

Shavette loaded with a fresh Bolzano blade
HJM best badger and Palmolive Cool
Styptic pencil (seems to be needed a lot lately :p )
Gillette icy thingy gel (I forgot the name again :( )
In the words , or better to say emoticons, of the great ajatolah of cool the venerable Crackstar :Animatedfrozensmily::Animatedfrozensmily::Animatedfrozensmily:
I left the lather on my face while I loaded a new blade in the shavette and it numbed me up nicely :D
Maybe that's why I've cut myself...a second cut this week. For comparison since I've first held a shavette in my hand about 10 months ago I've cut myself 2 times...until monday that is :D
But unlike my last accident when I almost clove my ear the bleeding stopped fast with a little help of my trusty styptic.

sorry no pics today, the cell is charging ;)

I'm not Jeff obviously, but the Barbon is pretty cold. I say on a scale of 1-10, it's at about 6 (YMMV.) The Osage to me was much colder and lasted a lot longer. But the Barbon AS is still very good and is my go to AS. I hope this helps. Jeff will also chime in with more info, I barely made a dent in it.
