I don't doubt I will replenish it sometime. I really love the Amici scent. Though I generally prefer a thicker handle, the Bamboo performed well. I didn't have any issues with it feeling slippery or with a lack of control. If one isn't looking for a monstrously heavy SS handle, the bamboo is a good option.

Pearl- Ikon/SuperMax BDT. The Ikon cap reduces cap span (improving rigidity) and really helps ATG performance. Best yet among my Old Type/Fatip configurations.[IMG]

The Herder usually isn’t one of my favorites. But after a light refresh on some red paste it delivered a top notch shave by all measures. :happy036:

    Soap - vintage cadum
    Post - lavender witch hazel
    A/S - pinaud musk

Great shave! This soap is awesome for being sooo old. There isn’t a ton of slickness but there is quite enough and the lather is awesome too. The pre war tech is definitely milder than the English flat bottom tech.

Bill, I love that sports section and the New York baseball scores. That was when NY had the Giants, Dodgers and Yankees. We really did beat up Boston too! Double headers were common and there were no teams west of the Mississippi.

And I bet there was REAL organ music, not the Mickey Mouse stuff you hear now(in most stadiums that it).

It's supposed to be "chilly" tomorrow-thus another winter shave soap(in spring)trial:

    prep-Nivea 4 Men Bodywash(Sport)in shower
    shave-Stoylin Barbershop soap
    brush-Stoylin 26mm Synthetic Pro Handle
razor-Gillette Sensor Deuce Plus Pivot DisposeABLE
    A.S.-Clubman Original A.S.**

    **
this could finish off my bottle, thus time for a new one, but then we never know with aftershave; tends to surprise us.

Yeah, those were the days. It really didn`t make much difference back then, everybody listened to the radio. Most families had a console radio and we all listened to the same thing. Everyone in my family were Yankee fans except my brother, he loved the Cleveland Indians. Go figure. I grew up in So. Calif., so we didn`t have a stadium nearby to go in person. Saturday double headers were great. My first major league game in a stadium was in Pttsburg vs Chicago Cubs in 1962 (27 yrs old). God Bless, Bill

Knowing my luck stores with the Colorado Sage will be staring me in the face when I'm out there next month. Tough for an NB18er like me.
