Nice Rubberset. Where can I get a top cap to fit my newly-acquired Rubberset 400/3 is I can switch out knots?

Those guys are master marketers. I discovered their Facebook page, and now I'm on it frequently just to see what silly fun new thing they have up. Lots of energy there.

Thanks! I get my top caps from Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements -- six of them so far. You'll find them listed as Switchback 400 Ferrules. PAA seems to be sold out at the moment; however, if we're lucky, they'll restock in the near future.

All this praise for WSO. I have a tin I have yet to try yet, will have to give it a fair shot in the near future.

That Rabid Banana sounds interesting, even though I'm not a big fan of banana scents, it is cool they are experimenting with banana oil.

    Sunday shave

    Prep: Musgo Real Oakmoss
    Razor: Wilkinson Sword Classic
    Blade: Pol-Silver
    Brush: Razorock BC Plissoft
    Soap: Deluxe Shaving Expresso Ameretti
    Post: B&M Leviathan EDT

Nice early morning shave. Was lucky there was no burning from the soap since it does have a bit of a almond type of scent which can sometimes cause issues. Top notch protection from the lather. finished off with Leviathan, and got several compliments on it which is always a plus.

    YESTERDAY'S SHAVE

    Prep: pre shave soap mix
    Razor: Wilkinson Sword Classic
    Blade: Pol-Silver
    Brush: Yaqi 26mm synthetic
    Soap: Wild West Annie Oakley
    Post: L&L Mayflower A/S

Very nice shave with Wild West. The scent of Annie Oakley is a bright floral that pairs great with L&L Mayflower, they are a little different but if you like one you should like the other.

    TODAY'S SHAVE
    20180522_101326.jpg

Prep: Occams Crushed Lime pre shave soap
    Razor: Wilkinson Sword Classic
    Brush: Yaqi 26mm Synthetic
    Soap: WTF Christmas Time
    Post: B&M Taiga A/S

Very happy with the results from today's shave. Not quite BBS, but no complaints. The WTF soap is top notch in every aspect, slickness thru the roof, and post shave feels nice and moisturized. The scent of Christmas Time pairs beautifully with Taiga since both have that pine/basalm/fir scent. Hope everyone is in good health and getting A1 shaves!

    Will these fit a 400/3?
The website says they fit a 24mm knot.

Hahaha when I first saw it I thought it meant what WTF usually means, but it stands for Wet The Face. I pucked this up from the BST a while back and has quickly become one of my top 10 soaps. The company is ran by Donald(Younger I believe) he does many soap reviews on the forums and utube. He also carries matching aftershaves and bath soaps (which are quite decent).

His WTF soaps are made by several artisans but my favorite is the formula with sunflower oil. A rather simple ingredient list but amazing performance. It is definitely a underrated artisan that's for sure.

These ferrules fit all Rubberset 400 handles as far as I know. You can glue various knot sizes into them, but they list 24mm knots as the optimum. I e-mailed PAA a while back and was told that they are working on a ferrule for 26mm size knots.

I have ferrules from both 400/4 and 400/3. These, along with the ferrules from PAA, are all interchangeable on my Rubberset handle.

Single Pass Evening Head Shave: Karve-F/BIC. The thing about me and adjustables is always second guessing settings. I'm pretty sure the F plate with it's 1.23mm gap is more than I need. The D is great but maybe a C/E combo would be better. Hmm.[IMG]
