Whew! The long weekend is done. Busy place, could have been busier, but I'll take it. It felt good to finally get home tonight and get a nice relaxing and zen-like shave in. I picked up the Fatip with the Sharp Star still in it, loaded teh JR54 with El Caballero and went to work. This is a very cushy soap although I think a few beat it for slickness, but not many. No matter, as the shave was excellent with it tonight. The Fatip and Sharp Star took the first two passes with ease. Smooth, comfy, no issues. I started to do touch ups and decided nope - after 4 days of sales fury - I needed the third pass. Really face lathered a perfect final lather and took my time with ATG and some slide work on my neck to finish with a BBS and quiet alum. Mind calmed, left over scent making for a relaxing finish. Nice.

We have three days left in MAYhem. Then on to Just the Basics June! Looking forward to a strong finish for the month and hope you all had a great extended weekend!

Having yet again favoured the L2 yesterday, I thought the L1 was being unfairly treated, so out it came today.
Not a bad shave at all, I find it similar to the ER Pushbutton, three full passes and pick ups required.
The Wickham's soap and balm were of course excellent.
