29 shaves! Dang Matthew... My beard won't let me do that with any blades... I'm lucky to get 5-8 good shaves. Once I get tugging or require too much buffing on the jaw line I have to move on to the next. I'm jealous.

I repeat that I am very jealous ... I think the most I've gotten was 10? Maybe 11 with a Gem PTFE blade. I have never gotten to 10 with a DE blade although I've heard good things about one of the Wilkinson Sword Blades. Several users getting >20 shaves... I need to try a tuck!

Yep, theres two Wilkinson sword blades available, the gillette ones and the plain Wilkinson sword ones. The latter seem to last longer.

As far as i know the white ones are just the old packaging, the other ones in the photo that say gillette are the ones made by gillette.

The Apollo feels like a precision/medical tool. Very well balanced and easy to dial in. I enjoyed turning over the baseplate for a milder second pass.​

 

Le Coq solid bar. My mind is officially blown by this razor. Using a Derby USTA it removed as much stubble on the first pass as my Ikon Tech. But where the Tech (and many aggressive razors including the Caged Head) get tuggy ATG on my head stubble, this Le Coq in one ATG pass on my had no such difficulty. Just amazing, almost no clean ups required. The Timeless Bronze is in the same ballpark but the Le Coq may beat it in a side by side, TBD
