    Today's shave was with an American Made, Modern Razor. I had a somewhat smooth, 2 pass shave, that left me near BBS, in most places. It needs some work, on the stones. Interesting razor.

    Razor- Hart Steel, JA, 11/16th.
    Brush- JR#262, WD Silvertip
    Soap- Arko/Sandalwood scented
    Aftershave- Pinaud Clubman

    Post-shave:- T.N. Dickinson Witch Hazel Astringent mixed into the 240ml bottle with Natural Glycerin (20), Tea Tree Antiseptic (10), Lavender (15) & Peppermint (10 drops)
    Fragrance:- Proraso Wood & Spice

    Some mail call action with my first Grooming Dept soap, as well as a first in this segment of fragrance, and a special Grizzly Bay brush.

    A first with Grooming Dept and a first with a Chypre, while it smelled a little, plant'ish and distinct in the tub, the post shave is very fresh and enjoyable; as for the performance of the soap, top tier stuff, pleased in every respect. 5th pull on the Feather professional and a great shave, stopping as a matter of practice, not need. Despite commentary I'd read that the Professional Super had a longer living edge both got to five and could have gone longer easily, the professional provided a milder first shave, thereafter I would say they were both great performers, onto my last A/C blade to test with the Vector, the Schick, which was a crime scene with my ATT SE1/2 set-up.
