My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Arko Extra Performance Shave Cream face lathered well with The Brush B-3 by Tom. I did two passes with the Starling SE razor with a Gem Blue Star CS SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Aqua Velva AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

LASS Woody Lavender today. 20 seconds to load the Elite Razor High Mountain White brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Gillette “Spoiler” SS still in the Gillette Fat Boy. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with YSL Country Club Classic Fougere aftershave.

A brilliant shave which was so enjoyable with the only Proraso soap that I can say I love - the White version smells fantastic, it lathers great, and yes, I find it actually quite cooling with such perfect protection against dryness or irritation. The Prep gave me lots of extra soothing. I get so many compliments when I wear the Yves Saint Laurent - it’s the original men’s fragrance which I believe was launched back in the 1970s.
