I was afraid this Russian was going to let me down. It’s been a long time favorite but the reduction on the early passes was so-so. Not to worry, super close by the end, nothing but face-rubbing goodness. Da Comrades, is glorious. Tabac Tuesday SOTD After returning from the barber after an awesome haircut, the Rex was calling from my razor / brush holder this afternoon and I couldn't say no. In retrospect, maybe I should've!? Overall a close and fine shave until the third pass... Don't fall asleep at the wheel! I got a nice razor burn on my right lower neck after taking a short pass too aggressive. First time I've done that in quite a while. I may take tomorrow off to give the area time to heal. The alum and Barbasol Brisk quickly let me know the error of my ways. Oh well ... Until the next shave. Enjoy your evening everyone. Josh Sent from my LYA-L29 using Tapatalk
USA Made razor tonight, and freshly honed today. I had one of the smoothest shaves I have had, in a long time. It was buttery smooth WTG and Buttery smooth ATG. The Naguras with the Welsh Slate Stones did wonders. It was so sharp, and smooth, I didn't notice I had taken off two bumps on my neck, that never was an issue before. Never felt it, just saw the blood. HHT-Chuck Norris sharp. Razor- Hart Steel, JA. Made in the USA. Brush- Stirling Boar Soap- TOBS Cedarwood Aftershave- Vintage Avon Spicy. Triple Crown Decanter
Tim, it is definitely worth getting your nose on. A citrus family scent fosho' ; however, it is quite powdery... . Not a bad thing for me. The dry down is quite nice, and it last s about like the Creed fragrances - 6 hours on my skin. It has a unique herbal heart, i can't remeber the notes , but it is a solid office fragrance. While wearing it today, i made a mental note to get it in my rotation with no seasonal boundaries. I would put it in their with GIT, Grey Vetiver, Royal Oud, and Rive Gauche for versatility. Try it Tim. You can tell they use high quality ingredients, and it is blended so well, hard to pick out individual notes. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

MAYhem!!! 2019 May 14 Razor - Fatip Piccolo Blade - (2) Soap - Oleo Soapworks El Caballero Brush - Jayaruh #230 Alum Second day with the Fatip and Ladas. El Caballero for a good slick lather from the small but highly effective JR230 brush. Three passes of smooth sailing and the baby is in the house again. The nice thing about these more aggressive razors - they just get the job done easier and faster. Keep angle and pressure where they're supposed to be and they are highly effective and harmless razors. Gotta love 'em. I'll have one more shave tomorrow night before heading out to the woods Thursday morning. Looks like the weather is going to be warm and dry for us which is something of a miracle given the Spring we've had. Not complaining at all. No jinx involved. Have a great Wednesday!
