Evening head shave: Le Coq caged head/Polsilver. Bladey but manageable and cuts SE blade close. Much better than the first shave with the less than fresh Supermax. IMG_20190514_200811-01.jpg

Well, after some blade experimentation and having to be candid with myself about where I'd wound up on settings with the Ambassador versus some others here, challenged my angle control and feel with this one. Starting on the cheek WTG at 2.5 short pull dialed up in +0.5 increments relathering area and refining angle and feel with each pull, maxed out at 6.5 and went for it WTG, hit one prior highspot that's healing and then went for the ATG pass maintaining the setting and angle, worked great save for two tiny bits in transition areas. New found fondness for this razor...now am I going to throw a feather in it and throw caution to the wind, chuckle...stay tuned.

Nice to see the Rex Ambassador with the stand! Where/when did you get it? I got my Rex+stand at the Big Shave S'West.

I plan many wearings of Clubman Special Reserve later this year during winter time. Pinaud has such great bang-for-buck scents. Possibly the most scents that are 'quality' in cheapy price range than any other brand/fragrance house. It seems like literally 'none' of their scents are bad. They all smell good.

Saw an IG post with it last week, check Rex then R/E and R/E had it, so ordered and it was waiting when I got back from traveling.

This shave dedicated to one @Terry , who word has it, has caved in to your humble servant's incessant carnival barking about this wonderful 'plastic doodad' edge forward shaving device.

Welcome to the Focus R21 Evolution revolution. May you find the same pleasure in yours that I found in mine.

Go ahead and load one of those Feathers in there (I like GSB) and start low and flat to the face. Start your stroke low and tip up the angle easy till you sense it cutting. Keep the water and the tunes off because the audio feedback is subtle because of the recessed blade holder.

Was a little pressed on time so IM-Bombed me some Barbasol let down with water in my bowl.Only went for 2 easy passes, one WTG, one ATG. Rinsed off andgenerously splashed on my dad's favorite, Aqua Velva. Walkedaway feeling great. Not an issue, but I could've let the Barbasol down a little more.

    Have fun, be safe.
If you like it as much as I do we can start up The Max HeadroomChevette Shavers Assn

    SOTD:
This was a night shave from yesterday, i was very impressed by the scent and menthol from the proraso, but as you'll see in my review in the soap section, thats about where my love for it ended.

The Wilkinson sword classic performed excellently, as did the Wilkinson sword brush, im definitely a convert to boar brushes now, the split ends are absolutely fantastic once they form, and i just can't see a synthetic being able to compete at least in the same price range.

The feather blade is very very close to being blunt now, ill try my best to get to 40 shaves, but if it tugs before then i will retire it.

    Razor: Wilkinson sword classic
    Blade: feather hi-stainless (37)
    Soap: proraso sapone (green)
Brush: Wilkinson sword classic shave brush premium edition
Aftershave balm: the body shop maca root razor relief.[IMG]

    Cold Water Rinse
    Williams Mug Shave Soap
    Bunny B-400 by Tom
    Bunny V3
    Personna Injector
    CWR
    Pinaud Lilac Vegetal

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Williams Mug Shave Soap face lathered well with the Bunny B-400 by Tom. I did two passes with the Bunny V3 razor with a Personna Injector blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Pinaud Lilac Vegetal AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Fine Classic Synthetic brush
    Williams SS (modern)
    Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe
    Pinaud Citrus Musk cologne

Literally have not used the Cadet in years. It's a TTO open comb razor that actually works very well. Feels good in hand and worked very well. Got an easy 2 pass DFS+ shave and my face is happy. Now go enjoy your day folks.

    Neutrogena Men Facial Wash
    Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster
    Wilkinson TTO/Wilkinson day 4
    Stirling Glacial Eskimo Tuxedo SS
    Stirling Glacial Unscented ASB
    Alcolado Glacial Menthol Splash

My wife is the BEST - she surprised me big time last night when she unpacked another handbag and put five of my favorite soaps in the bathroom, including this one. It’s so hot down here that a strong menthol bombardment (as well as air conditioning) is the easiest way to keep cool and comfortable. The Glacial Eskimo Tuxedo soap lathered like it was going out of style, its delightful scent filled the bathroom, and the freeze hit me like ten tons of icy bricks. The Glacial Unscented balm felt so good, and the Alcolado Glacial froze me even more. BBS as could possibly be from just two passes!
