It matches all my Rive Gauche inspired soaps to a T, haven’t experienced the early RG in the tin but i presume it is close?

How's the DFS LE soap, Gus? I am completely unfamiliar with the Eleven line.

    SOTD:
What a beautiful shave, i used the boots cool colgne cream that Sav sent for the first time, what a great cream! Very weak menthol but super super slick stuff!!!

The fatip piccolo performed wonderfully as usual, and so did the Wilkinson sword blade on use number 8.

The Wilkinson sword brush is basically worn in now, a very good beginners brush for sure!

Daves home made menthol A/S is perfect for cooling off your face after a shave!

    Razor: Fatip piccolo
    Blade: Wilkinson sword (8)
Brush: Wilkinson sword classic shave premium edition
    Cream: boot's cool colgne
    Aftershave: Dave's home made menthol.[IMG]

    Tabac Thursday's Shave
    zcws.jpg

    Cold Water Rinse
    Tabac Shaving Soap
    Oscar11 Synthetic
    47 Gillette Aristocrat
    Gillette Silver Blue
    CWR
    Tabac AS

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Tabac Shave Soap face lathered well with the Oscar11 Synthetic brush. I did two passes with the 47 Gillette Aristocrat razor with a Gillette Silver Blue blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard)

RazoRock Tuscan Oud today. 20 seconds to load the Knots in Your Head/Whipped Dog Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Gillette “Spoiler” SS still in the Gillette Fat Boy. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with RazoRock Tuscan Oud aftershave.

    L’Oreal Men Expert Facial Wash
    Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster
    Wilkinson TTO/Rapira day 5
    Proraso White SS
    Prep ASB
    Alt Innsbruck AS Splash

For me the best Proraso soap is the White one - do I ever love it and I can kiss my wife for bringing it for me to use here. (I kiss her a million times a day anyway!) It gave me so much rich, slick lather with its delightful scent and a nice cooling sensation which felt so good. The Prep took great care of me afterwards and I absolutely LOVE the Alt Innsbruck. Smooth as a baby’s keester in two quick, easy passes!

Today I have chosen a 'winter' soap: days are sunny, but early morning still pretty cool.

Soap performs excellently, but I am still perplexed by its fragrance: must quit buying soaps I have not previously smelled!

The CC Rotbart is a great machine if coupled to the right blade.
