Damn, I should have gone with a mentholated setup because it’s so bloody hot here. Even though the Wilkinson soap lathers very well it doesn’t have the skincare that the stick version has, and the scent while nice and sporty, is a little too “in your face” for my liking. The Fino balm is such a good soother, and the Max Disinfecting aftershave smells great - it’s from Bulgaria and excellent for sensitive skin. Although the Rapira blade struggled, I was still able to coax a final great BBS shave out of it.

WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard)

Maggard Limes & Bergamot today. 20 seconds to load the Maggard 2-Band Badger brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Gillette “Spoiler” SS still in the Gillette Fat Boy. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Country Club Frozen Vetiver aftershave.

What a beautiful shave from the Fatip piccolo and Wilkinson sword blade, even on its 10th use it made short work of stubble, ive forgotten how much lather a little bit of Godrej can produce, its fantastic stuff for sure!

Matador , Fatip Mk1. The feedback of the Mk1 makes it for me a lot more fun to use, but the Matador is ultimately smoother and a tad more efficient. Derby USTA.
