Wow, was I rewarded with my choices tonight! The ER-1914 never disappoints! I think I'm going to use it again on Thursday... Looking forward to being smooth and smelling great for bed tonight. Happy shaves all and enjoy your night!

Bath Soap - Lucky Girl Boutique's Pure Body Delights "Tommy Boy"

    Fragrance - Tommy Hilfiger Cologne
Aftershave - Catie's Bubbles '95 Liquid Labels Toner
Shave Soap - Catie's Bubbles '95 Liquid Labels Luxury Shave Soap Formula
Deodorant - Lucky Girl Boutique's Pure Body Delights "Tommy Boy"
Pre-shave Oil soap - Lather & Wood "unscented" PAA CUBE
Post-Shave Balm - Advanced Clinicals Anti-aging Hyaluronic Acid Cream
Razor - Antique Gillette ABC "Empire" Razor circa 1908-1912 (fully restored/re-plated by Razor Emporium)
Blade - SuperMax Blue Diamond *Fresh Blade
Razor Stand - ThinkGeek Executive Knight Pen Holder
Brush - London Cutlers Antique Silver Modified Synthetic Boar Hair
Brush Stand - Jac Zagoory's Butterfly Pen Stand
Soap Bowl - Paul Revere silver plated replica sugar bowl

I am trying yet another blade in this finicky antique razor. This blade seems to show even more blade exposure than any of the others, so I expect this will either fix the issues I've had or it will shear flesh off my face. We'll see....

***EDIT - I had my best shave with the ABC yet this morning. 2-pass + cleanup. This time around I decided to use PAA's CUBE pre-shave soap instead of the pre-shave oil. I think it helped add glide to the Catie's Bubbles shave soap. IMO, Catie's Bubbles Luxury Cream performs better than the 'soap' formula. That's just my experience now that PAA's pre-shave soap augmented the Catie's Bubbles soap so perfectly. I also minded my razor handle position to be further from the face thereby making the blade angle more steep. IMO, the soap and blade angle changes made more difference than the SuperMax Blue Diamond blade, but I'm not ruling it out. Further testing is now warranted. I will shave without the PAA Preshave next time and try to keep everything else the same. Then I will switch blades and keep everything the same. Once I figure out how I got this perfect shave then I will just keep that setup going from here on out with the ABC razor.[/S][/S]

T/U Sir, bought it on the front end loving the label, BRG and the Jag, recently discovered Sartorial and was steered toward A&E's Barbiere Sofisticato as an even better match, and I found Hedonisme to be a great compliment!

Dayum.....you're pulling out the Amouage. I think you might have my fragrance collection beat. But I'm still slowly and carefully growing the number of scents.

    Tabac AS

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Tabac Shave Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #356 Synthetic brush. I did two passes with the AutoStrop B1 razor with a Treet SE despined blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
