Tim, you have a Creed collection that I am envious of,... I need to build that wing of my troops. It is a good hobby and fun learning from you and the other guys here. I look forward every day to see what you and our crew put together. We are enabling each other into bankruptcy

    FRIDAY'S SHAVE

    Perfumed by:
    Olivier Creed
    [IMG]

Shampoo - Paul Mitchell Lemon Sage Tea Tree
Bath Soap - Mrs. Meyers Clean Day Lemon Verbena Bar Soap
    [IMG]
    Razor - DaveOcean33 "Atlas"
    Blade - [IMG] *4th Shave
Shave Brush - Gentleman's Hangar Synthetic
Shave Stand by Robert Evans on Etsy. Must request custom project to order.
Shave Soap - Mama Bear's "Bounty"
    Pre-shave Oil - Lather & Wood "unscented"
Aftershave - Country Club for Men "1837"
Post-Shave Balm - Advanced Clinicals Anti-aging Hyaluronic Acid Cream
Deodorant - Ooh La Active Organics "Lemon-Mint"
    Fragrance - Creed Royal Water

***EDIT - Perfect shave outcome. Zero irritation. BBS. 2-passes + clean-up. I was on the edge of irritation and feared I might have crossed that fine line in a few spots on my neck, but after the aftershave splash red-flush faded to normal there was no residual irritation to be found. The shave came out spectacular. Couldn't expect better. It seems that I'm finding that pre-shave oil tends to work well with soaps that need enhanced protection, like the Mama Bear's glycerine-based soap, which is plenty slick and has great glide, but just needs a protective pre-shave base, which pre-shave oil delivers. On my other soaps that deliver good protection but lack in slickness/glide, then the PAA CUBE pre-shave soap is the way to go. Shave and learn. It's the only way.

The lemon-mint scent of these products is just so refreshing. I'm going to take a walk after I eat lunch on my lunch break out in the sun (working from home today). The only way to appreciate a sparkling citrus scent like this is to be out in the sun. I swear the Oooh La deodorant is the best deodorant I ever smelled. I loaded up on a bunch of the tubes just to try to ensure that I never run out, but I don't think these will keep forever as they are made from organic ingredients and may turn bad someday. So, I have to hope that the ladies who make it never shut down their little Etsy shop. Previously the only other deodorant that smelled like this was Organic Essence "Lemon Mint". I don't know how these ladies got a hold of the exact scent and tube shape, but I'm very lucky to have found it. Yeah, the scent is 'that good' that it was worth searching the internet for days to find it and then buy-and-test it. The odds of finding the same scent like that seemed impossible.

I had planned to shave with Nomad, but the weather, when I woke up, seemed autumn. So I chose Strong 'n Scottish.

I had the Strong 'N Scottish cream. LOVED the scent; very nice lather, BUT I couldn't stand the color and it stained my towels so I had to sell it.

Tending to the lawn yesterday put me in a time pinch so I went with the much maligned R48.
I was irritated from the pollen and the heat, so menthol was calling me.
Brut is my traditional fave so I had to at least try the DG copy. Brut Splash On dissipates fast, this faster making it the ideal menthol drown carrier. I generously M-bombed the remainder of this bottle with wonderful results. I usually don't notice a lasting menthol effect that some do, but I succeeded today. Most of my upper torso got a decent helping of the coolmax elixer. Nice!

Great fast shave, smooth and irritation free. I'm gonna do this one more.

For those interested, Joanna still has some M-Bomb up on Ebay.

Well... I would not go so far to say I 'love' that scent: it reminds me of vulcanized rubber, Lapsang Souchong tea...
    However it is capturing!

And... yes! It does stain towels, but not when it has been lathered.
    Quite annoying, anyway...

    Cold Water Rinse
    Morning TOST
    Jayaruh #356 Synthetic
    Maggard V3A
    Gillette Silver Blue
    CWR
    Aqua Velva Musk

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Morning TOST Shave Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #356 Synthetic brush. I did two passes with the Maggard V3A (aggressive head) razor with a Gillette Silver Blue blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Aqua Velva Musk AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

This was my first shave with the Maggard V3A head. It was advertised as aggressive, so I treated it like a Gillette Old Type. There were no issues, just a clean close shave. Nice.
