    Today has been an emotionally charged morning!
    I went all the way to Stradella, a place about twenty kilometers from here, where access was forbidden and where I could finally buy Figaro Gel, my favourite aftershave!
    I was sipping the remnant of the last bottle as a castaway would sip his last bottle of water!

    And, after almost three months, I had the car washed: lately, when I was passing by, the Military were saluting me, so much Sacred Homeland Soil was on it!

    On the way back I crossed over into Emilia (where we are not allowed to enter) because that's where is the highway exit is: would I have found the Police? Would I have to produce lots of papers? Would I have to undergo a body search?

    Hitchcock style suspense...

    I didn't even see a single patrol car. Too bad: I would have proudly exhibited a fantastic shave, under the mask!

    In the bathroom I wasted some time reading everything printed on the razor blade: the Japanese are very meticulous!

    Today's shave was done outside by request. I used tools I would have used for an outside shave in Vietnam back in 1968.

    The Williams Mug Soap face-lathered well with my Burma Shave Boar Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Schick L1 Injector with a Personna blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Aqua Velva Ice Blue AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    These Bundubeard soaps have me addicted - my man Jaco is such a soap genius. As a general rule I’m not that big a fan of glycerine soaps but Jaco’s a few others are extreme exceptions. The Rooibos has a beautiful sweet/herbal scent, the lather is incredible - the more you work it up the thicker it gets, and it has fantastic slickness which also leaves a soothing, comfortable postshave feeling. The Fino balm is another South African treasure - it’s unscented and its moisturizing, as well as its skincare are awesome. The Max Disinfecting aftershave (from Bulgaria) smells great but it never clashes with any fragrance and it feels so good when you slap it on. This shave was A1 and so enjoyable!
