    Sunday morning:

Happy Mother’s Day to all you beautiful Moms out there!

    Neutrogena Deep Clean Facial Wash
    Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole
    Super Speed/Schick day 7
    Bundubeard On The Berg SS
    Nip Man ASB
    Bleu de Chanel Deodorant Stick
    Bleu de Chanel AS Splash
    Bleu de Chanel EdP

How can I neglect Jaco’s wonderful soaps? The On The Berg smells so beautiful, it lathers like a bomb, and it’s so gentle on my skin - wow, does it ever feel great. The Nip Man balm from the UK has such a nice minty scent, it’s very moisturizing as well as cooling, and the Bleu de Chanel is a magnificent fragrance - it’s my number one favourite. An extra close, smooth shave for Mother’s Day!

Have a lovely Sunday - be safe and healthy!

I was vert intrigued by the idea of a smoky orange...
    But... no smoke! :(

    (Did you light it? :p)

I know you weren't asking me, but I'm chiming in anyway. I have the Nordost set, and while I don't notice the smoke either, it is different than straight orange. Instead, it's orange that's warm. Someone has described it as "orange that's been exposed to flame", and I think that's a pretty good description.

It could just be me. Others have described it as smelling like grilled orange slices.

    Who cares, Matt?
As far as sensations are involved, many different opinions are possible...

I do not know what an orange exposed to flame might smell like, but I remember, when I was a child, my parents used to put orange and tangerine peels on the heaters, at Christmas.
    And that smell was good!

    Thank you!

I find the handling of the brass Gibbs awkward for my head shave but ultimate performance with the Feather blade (1) is pretty pretty good. [IMG]

Very very nice renewed razor set, I'm not sure if you mentioned the coating used. Try finding one in that great condition is almost impossible IMO. Enjoy it is all that matters and Razor-emporium did a spectacular job IMO.

Sunday injector shave, May 9th 2021

Razor: Pal injecto-matic injector-MFG 1950's, milder mid range, Very well designed IMO, they spent over 1 million dollars to tool up to develop this razor in the 1950's so how many millions today?
Blade: Personna SS PTFE (10) excellent blade, Very sharp, great longevity and smooths out nicely.
Soap: Razorock The Dead Sea, I enjoy the scent and excellent lather qualities.
Brush: Yaqi Rainbow 26 mm brown whiskers, excellent lather generator, cloud like soft tips, nice scrub + great lather painter.
Pre shave: Brush wash my whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of Clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Results: CCS,DFS,bBS + no irritation + no weepers = [IMG] excellent shave with my Pal injecto-matic with a Personna injector blade.
