So the past couple of days, i have not been able to shave. I got a sample of some shaving frosting from a etsy vendor and boy did it burn my skin. My whole mouth area became chapped and scaly. Its too bad because i really like that stuff. So today i decided to make it calm and light shave because my skin is still itchy and feels sensitive.. ans this set up did the trick. Razor is nice and mild. Soo smoooooth. The soap is oh sooo slick and smells amazing. The rest is what is and its all good. BBS smooth and diggin it.

Monday May 24th SOTN

A very comfortable 3 dot Hiram shave tonight before bed. The vanilla scent will surely welcome sleep tonight. I definitely need to spend more time with the Hiram but too many of my razors beckon to me.

Do you like the SB or OC side on the SBS more?? I know it seems strange, but the OC side on this razor seems slightly less aggressive to me... your thoughts?

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Pears ~ Transparent Bar Soap With Mint Extracts. + Nuage Menthol shaving Oil.
Brush: Chinese Unbranded Silvertip Fibre.
Face Lather.
Frankensoap : Pears Transparent bar Soap + Wilkinson Sword Soap bowl.
Blade: Gillette 7 o'clock SE yellow. (D3)
Razor: Wilkinson Sword Premium TTO.

Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezings, Cold Water Face Rinse. /Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.+3 Menthol Crystals, Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./Aloe Vera Gel./ Brut ~ Attraction Totale ASL.

Early morning shave.

My shaving set up this morning was absolutely brilliant!....I have mentioned before in many of my postings ,the vast majority of my shave set ups are very in-expensive. It just goes to show that you don't need expensive shaving items to get a good acceptable shave. It's all down to technique & shaving confidence.

A Enjoyable 3 pass + pick ups close comfortable shave with no errors to report...Finishing the shave off a with a generous splash of Brut ~ Attraction Totale ASL.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.

I'm skipping the oils and balms and will use an alum block post-shave in my continuing effort to recover and heal the acne breakout. It's nearly cleared up and I think I will be back to my normal skin moisture products at some point this week.

And I'm finding this scent to be pretty close to the Ethos one and I really like it. Although I really like several other lavenders....

I'm ready to survive for another day!

This is the 48th shave with this Personna Super blade. The Tabac Shave Soap lathered well with the Olivewood Silvertip Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gillette Fat Handle Old Type Frankenrazor with a Personna Super blade (48) gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
