That razor is the best. How long do you think the blade will go?

How is the Rex? Mild or aggressive. I love those Simpson brushes.

I can't believe I missed the Great Primos SOTD. Better late than never, I suppose. How long do those Wizamets last? Beautiful picture!

Cool. I was wondering why you would use the Proraso instead. The sandalwood scent it has should still go well with Obsession. It's still a decent match up.

A pretty sweet 3 day shave today before work tonight. The Ikon X3 had no problem mowing down my tough beard. I’m smooth and smell great for the ER tonight.

    Happy Healthy Shaves all.

    Razor: English Valet
    Blade: Modified Gem
    Brush: Gibbs nylon
    Soap: LPL Cedar
    Post: rose witch hazel
    A/S: Pinaud lime sec

So last night i decided to use my valet which as usual provides a smooth shave. The soap well is overpriced for what is and what it does but nonetheless it smells nice . The rest is just what i grabbed and didnt care because i was getting ready for bed.

    Touch up morning

So i know what youre thinking. “Hey Jorge, what do you mean touch up?” Well friend, i guess i missed a few spots last night . And i know that look you are giving me.. why r41? Well because ive tamed it of course! Duh!! Its perfect for any situation now, if i want just throw some brushless or lather booster.. psssh no problem. And thats what i did. Cold Water Rinse
    Proraso Green Shave Soap
    Jayaruh #199 Synthetic
    Wood Handle Enders Speed Shaver
    Schick Proline B20
    CWR
    Osage Rub

The Proraso Green Shave Soap lathered well with Jayaruh #199 Synthetic brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Wood Handle Enders Speed Shaver with a Personna Schick Proline B20 blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Thanks for the kind words. Of course, everyone's beard is different, but I can comfortably get 3-4 shaves from a blade. We'll see this week as I will use this same blade until it bites the dust.

    Stirling Mentholated Pre Shave Soap
    Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole
    Super Speed/new Schick
Master Soap Creations Frosted Lavender SS
    Prep ASB
Master Splash Creations Citrus Melody AS Splash

This shave was so bloody frigid that I thought that my face would fall off - the Frosted Lavender soap has such a gorgeous scent - the best way to describe it is soothing relaxation in the middle of winter, the lavender is blended so well with the intense menthol. The lather worked up like a charm, the freeze easily matches any of the Stirling Glacial soaps, and the skincare is perfect. The Prep and the Citrus Melody aftershave were a splendid finish. The new Schick blade helped to ensure a brilliant three pass BBS shave!

Have a great week - be well and safe!

    jluc smelling pretty

I would say the Envoy is middle of the road. Smooth with a little blade feel. Marketed to be like the Ambassador set on 3 but I find the Envoy smoother.

I harvested the knot from a Trafalgar T2 for the MrEE LE. Terrific combo.
