Shave #3 from an old Sheffield razor. The edge seemed not as smooth as the days before. Perhaps the blade, or the preparation. I will try one more shave, before sending it back. I did end up with a DFS, after two passes. It was still very smooth, on the ATG pass.

    Razor- Manhattan Cutlery Co. Sheffield
Brush- "The Brush", B-400. By Tom(@twhite ). Omega Boar knot.
Soap- More For You. Turkey. It is like Arko in a tub, but an even richer lather.
    Aftershave- Pinaud Clubman

The MK 32 is a fine razor and one worth waiting for. I only wish I hadn’t failed to ask @gssixgun to polish the tang and tail where there are some blemishes. For those of you who like doing restorations, how difficult would it be to polish that out? Bear in mind I’m not the most physically skilled or patient :chores016:

It’s been a while but I was reminded on Facebook what an excellent forum this is. I will try and post much more often.

Lovely shave kit, Guy! I greatly regret selling my Cobra Classic about four years ago! Your razor reminded me of it! Enjoy your shaves!

    Thank you very much, Jeff.

I downloaded Compress and succeeded getting it down to a respectable 595kb then uploaded the photo to Flickr, copied the URL and pasted. However, it still won’t show.

I’m not so tech-savvy and am pushing my boundaries so any further assistance would be very much appreciated.

Sorry chaps, I just can’t get photos to upload despite them being less than 1mb and am all out of tech-ability. I’ve been mucking around with it for an hour almost so I guess it’s a no go for me.

I wish you all the very best and great shaves!

    My best,
    Graeme

Have you tried uploading directly from your phone! I had the same issue myself years ago, and found direct uploads worked for me. I’m 75 and although used to be an IT Pro, I date from the mainframe era. So much of this mobile stuff was a stretch for me!

    Evening Jeff,

The Hiram Commander is a tamed version of the Cobra Classic. I would rate the Cobra Classic the most aggressive, followed by the King Cobra, and then the Hiram Commander. I have all three plus the Occam razor as well from Classic Shaving. For the last two, I think I could speed shave and not have to worry about drawing blood but the first three provide me BBS 2 pass shaves and the Occam 3 passes.

A superb Shave set up Daniel..Both the Mühle R41/Treet 7 days duo work wonderfully together...The Treet 7 days remind me of Feather hi stainless, and are a great favourite of mine, which work really well for me..As always DE blades are very a subjective matter.

    Personna Injector

Aqua Velva 5 in 1 ASB

The Williams Mug Shaving Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #1 Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Schick G “66” Razor with a Personna Injector Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Aqua Velva 5 in 1 ASB. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
