The Williams Mug Shave Soap lathered well with Jayaruh #464 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Auto Strop A2 razor and the modifid Personna GEM SS PTFE blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Lustray Spice After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Oh la la my face is almost numb after using the Glacial Wintergreen trio - that delightful scent filled my bathroom, the soap delivered tons of awesome lather, the menthol sensation kicked in right away and each stroke of my Super Speed seemed to make it colder, and the postshave feeling was so comfortable. The matching balm and witch hazel put plenty of soothing icicles in my face. Finally the Fahrenheit fragrance and I’m good to go. Three passes with my cherished Super Speed delivered a perfect BBS shave that I enjoyed to the max!

Here my Shave of the Day (07.05.2025)


Razor: PILS 104NE // Blade: Polsilver Super Iridium // Soap: Proraso // Brush: Shavemac // Aftershave: Witch Hazel - Trumper´s Coral Skin Food

A good one. The red Proraso is SO good, lather, scent…everything spot on. MUCH better than the green one. Wish they had the same Formular in their green one.

The PILS is a mighty fine razor. Does not give me BBS shaves but very very close to BBS. And so smooth and gentle. After three passes the shave was done. With Hazel and (as a contrast to the very sweet soap) the Coral Skin Food took care after the shave.

A 9 out of 10

Pears Transparent bar Soap.
Brush: Wilkinson Sword Synthetic.
Face Lather.
Lather: Chinese Cologne shaving soap.
Blade: Gillette Wilkinson Sword. (D2)
Razor: Wilkinson Sword Classic.

Post:
Cold Water Face Rinse./Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, /Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.5 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With Care+Witch Hazel./Duru mandarin Cologne. /Aloe Vera Gel.

Early morning shave,

The Chinese cologne soap provided me with a wonderful protective lather in no time.

A close comfortable 2 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Aloe Vera Gel.

My face is feeling smooth, & smelling divine.

This 50s Super Speed is so precious to me because it was a gift from my Dad, of dearly loved and cherished memory for my fourteenth birthday. It performs so well in spite of it being a relatively mild razor. My Plissoft Monster worked up great lather from the Palmolive Menthol cream that I love so much. The Lubriderm moisturizer felt so soothing, and the Alt Innsbruck’s scent is magnificent - so old school European, and the menthol kick is delightful. Three passes gave me a brilliant BBS shave that was so much fun!
