    George Korn razor (whipped dog)
    Vie Long horsehair brush
    Williams mug soap w/
    Godrej Lime cream
    Cold rag
    Alum
    Diplomat classic AS
    Arko Citrus ASB
Getting a little better with the Str8. Definitely going to stick with the whipped dog razor until I get the others professionally honed/restored. What a difference a little bit of cream made with the Williams! Awesome lather with the Vie Long, although I don't notice a huge difference in it and my Parker Black Badger. The Diplomat has a nice scent that went well with the Citrus ASB. No nicks, a little stubble along the jawline and tip of the chin, but not bad for a Str8 shave. DFS-

12 hours after last night's late nite shave...I proceed with today's shave...I think this type situation is a great test for any shave-rig, as your whiskers are not long enough to make a close shave easily obtainable. And too many passes can cause irritation...Todays Rig came through with flying colors; no suprises there. 3 1/2 passes and slight touch-up equals perfection...No irritation, and the whole process was most enjoyable, and fun...I say "no surprises" because this set-up has never let me down.
I would have to say, my feelings about today's shave reflect Steve's feelings above...Must be some good shave energy in the air today...:))

Normally Sunday is my OCMM and Williams day. Saw Lloyd's post above and decided to go with the 52 Black, it was made the same year L and I were. Great shave and love the old formula Old Spice.

    Super Speed/Rapira day 4
    Noxzema SC :love008 :love008 :happy108 :happy108

    JHL Cologne :love008 :love008 :love008 :love008

Since I received these Rapiras, I'm getting such wonderful shaves again with so much comfort. The Noxzema cream delivered its magical cooling effect and traditional old-school scent along with such rich lather and soothing skincare. The Booster Polar Ice aftershave felt so good afterwards. ;) :D

    Razor: Merkur Futur
    Blade: Super Iridium
    Brush: H.L. Thater
    Pre-Shave: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
    Soap:Geo F. Trumper Violets
A/S: Geo F. Trumper Wild Fern

I returned to the Futur this morning and was not disappointed. I enjoyed an excellent shave, aided no doubt by the creamy Trumper lather and the Thater brush. A splash of the discontinued Wild Fern aftershave and I am ready for the day.

My Man!! Great set-up you got there...I love the old formula Old Spice too...It don't get no better...:)...The Barber Population of Turkey and I think those Perma Sharps are THE connoisseur's blade.
It's wild for me to think these razors were made when we were...And there's nothing newer that I think shaves as good...There are some older razors, but not newer...Except for my injector which is 2 years newer, and I do love that also, especially with those Long's/Personnas (from A in Arizona)...:)

2 Pass BBS! only problem is is that my face is still a bit raw from yesterday's Str8 Shave. Should have gone with the Gem as originally planned, but the Progress hasn't been getting much love lately. I really love the Irisch Moos/Alpa 378 combo.

Skipped SoS for some time, so I begin from this weekend. May 28 and 29 were just the same:

    8/8 W&B restored by Glen
    Paddle strop
Muhle travel brush in best badger
Williams mug soap/Phyto Expert SC uberlather
    Cold water rug
    Everest ASB w/cologne

That's the way I will use Williams, as I cannot gat any stable lather with my hard water. In uberlather it stays forever, VERY slick and protective!
