All three Myrsol products are mentholated which should match well with the mentholated PSO and the frosty Vostok soap. It will be the first time trying the Kabrand razor so don't know what to expect.

The Col. Conk Amber Shave Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #6 High Mountain Badger brush. Two passes with my Schick L-1 razor and a Personna Stainless blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Rose Petal WH and then Barbasol Brisk after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Well, I think I just might have a new favorite razor... the Mühle R89 Twist!! I have only used it a few times but it is fast becoming one of my most favorite razors. Paired with a Feather blade, this razor delivered a delightfully smooth two-pass shave. The Twist weighs 86 grams which is a bit heavier than my R89 Grande which tips the scales at 80 grams. It is also slightly shorter than the Grande. The brush is the big Mühle synthetic. I am just getting into synthetic brushes so I don't have much to say for now other than it splays well when using moderately firm pressure. This was the first time I tried Omega shaving cream and while it lathered very well, it didn't have much scent. I decided to M-Bomb the lather before the second pass using about 10 drops! Needless to say that had a rather chilling effect! Nice finish with the awesome Vifrex gel and some aftershave that was a gift from my son. Thanks Rodger. It was my first horsehair brush and still the favorite.

LOL. A buddy forward me a pic and told me since I seem to have just about everything else I should buy this. I didn't want to spend the money as I already had a DB 1.5 scuttle and a G12 so my daughter bought it for me as my Christmas gift. I agree it is a pretty sweet looking bowl.

 

Holy Toledo, my face is frozen stiff from the Glacial Wintergreen trio - the soap, balm, and witch hazel did a HELL of a number on me and I got a perfect BBS shave from the new Derby!

Great shave. The Gillette New line is some of the best razors they made in my opinion. Smooth and efficient. This little brush that I got from ShavingSamplea is a little work horse.

Reef Point Peerless today. 20 seconds to load the ER Silvertip. Great, easy, thick, lather. The Fatboy still has the Gillette Platinum in it. Great smooth, close, shave. I finished with CC Southern Oud.
