    Prep: Warm shower
    Blade: Chinese Schick
    Razor: Schick G1 Injector
    Brush: Omega 10049 boar
    Lather: VDH Luxury.....used it up!
Post: Witch hazel, Fine American Blend, Nivea sensitive balm
    WTG, touch-up

Last shave with the VDH today. I used it a good bit since last month. Once I figured out the water ratio and which brush to use it became a really good soap. It's also quite affordable, around $5 or so in major stores. I'll probably get some more in the future once I've worked on using up some of my other stock.

The G1 performed well again. I could have stopped after one pass and been just fine but I opted to touch up a little bit. Witch hazel followed by Fine American Blend then Nivea balm completed another good shave.

Hope you all had a great day and I wish you a great weekend!

Never having used a battery powered cartridge razor in my life I was rather looking forward and curious as to what it would be like this morning.

This is the "LE 2012 London Olympics Gold Gillette Power Fusion".

    In short:
    * The vibrations did very little for the shave. I tried it on and off and didn't see much difference
    * The resulting shave was very, very good - nice and close and I don't think I could had drawn blood had I tried to
    * The cartridge keeps clogging up when using real soap (Wickham's 1912 Cashmere) and had to be rinsed off frequently
    * It was less 'fun' than shaving with a DE/SE

It only came with that one cart and I don't think I'll buy more so it will be used a handfull of times I guses.
    It's kinda purty though

Today was one of those days that I started off with one razor and ended up with another. I was attempting to finish off the Gem blade in a MMOC but it wasn't working out. Switched to the E1 and it felt like one of those moments when you here a pipe organ hit and hold a beautiful note.
The E1 hits that note a perfect balance of efficiency without being harsh. :love055:
