Today I gave particular attention to my pre-shave prep...I washed my face several times and rinsed with HOT water. The last time I used regular soap and rubbed Arko SC into the lather with my hands and allowed it to sit for 5 mins. Then thoroughly rinsed with Hot water.
Then I applied the Arko Stick to my wet face and placed dabs of Arko M-C SC around on my face, and proceeded to scrub with a wet boar brush...The lather exploded in abundance. Enough for several shaves.
I then let the Schick work it's magic, and 2 1/2 wonderful passes later, the resulting smooth and close shave would make jealous the best of barbers...:happy108
And I had a spectacular time....

I think this is my 1st shave with Erasmic soap in over a year, and it's definitely time for me to start enjoying it again. It has everything I love--a beautiful "old-school" scent, as well as great lather and a lot of skincare. The Alcolado Glacial felt wonderful, because it's going to be quite hot today.

Very typical near-BBS results, but I really enjoyed this one for some unknown reason. I've found myself reaching for the Pre De Provence more often lately - it's really easy to lather and give great skin care (almost as good as MWF).

A fine, refreshing shave on this beautiful first day of June here in the Chicago area. The RR XXX just arrived yesterday, and I was eager to try it. It easily produced a nice lather and I like the scent. Although I do not have sensitive skin, I felt a slight tingle after the shave, but it soon faded. The Provence Sante splash, applied sparingly, was an excellent finish--I love the scent. It is witch hazel based and contains shea butter; if applied too liberally, it can feel rather sticky for 15 minutes or so until it is absorbed.
