I have no stubble or rough patches anywhere, my skin is nice & smooth & moisturized, no irritation, I feel great! Can I say I'm BBS or do I need to check with the base line umpire first to see if I can swing? Or maybe Myth Busters...LOL!!!
My face is as soft & smooth as rose petals. :happy102 I'm still ugly, but my face is smooth, LOL!

Thanks for the Segal blades Steve!

This is the first time I have used a vintage blade. There is a noticeable difference in the thickness of the blade compared to current blades. The Segal blades (and the Gillette blades that I have, but have not used) seem to be twice as thick. The blade shaved okay, but it was a tad on the tugging side at first. I tried a couple of different angles and the tugging settled down a little bit.

Also of note - I have been face lathering more often these days. I never was a fan of face lathering, and much prefer the ritual of scuttle lathering. However, while on vacation last week and a few other times that I have traveled this year I have face lathered and I am really starting to like it.

    Have a great day Ya'll!

Tried to open up the Futur again today and gave myself two small weepers.

Aside from the blood letting, it was a nice irritation free shave.

Once again my Super Speed/Rapira combination delivered a magnificent and very comfortable shave without any real effort. This Lord Emofresh cream from Egypt has such a rich lather with a beautiful scent, as well as a nice menthol effect. I think many of us know the beauty of JoAnna's Iced Subzero aftershave stuff! ;) :D

Glad to hear the blade worked out okay for ya, Jeff! :happy088:happy088 Just not my cup o' tea.

    Thursday - another day closer

    Prep: Hot shower
    Coffee: Melitta Columbian Supreme, BLACK
    Soap: TSD Sandalwood
    Brush: C&E Pure badger
    Razor: '55 Red Tip
    Blade: Dorco ST-301, day 4, 3+ passes
Post: Cold water rinse, ice water splash, L'Oreal Comfort Max ASB, B&BW Oak, hand strop blade
    'Stache Wax: Firehouse Wacky Tacky

    Shave Rating: 4 Blades

This is one of the razor/blade combos that give me a decent shave, but not as good as others. Thinking about it, though, I just think it's super cool to be using something that is older than I am, sometimes by almost twice my age! Just another way I enjoy my shaves :happy088:happy088

After 2.5 days without any water, this is my first shave since Monday. The slant continues to impress the heck out of me with its smooth and effortless shave. It's like the Fat, I am wondering if I can go back to traditional razors without feeling like I could be using something better.
