I know this is becoming annoying to some people here, so I apologize to them. It's just that I enjoy starting the new week off.

A frigid Lebanese cream, an American safety razor with a Russian blade, and a frigid Hungarian aftershave - all the right ingredients for a fantastic Menthol Monday Shave. Wow, is this Gada Cool Mint stuff ever a delight. I have a tube of it with some other stuff in transit to a good friend of mine here!

 

Jeff, why on Earth should someone be annoyed if you are starting the SoS week? Somebody's gotto start the new thread and your posts are fun to read, I am always amazed at how chilly your shaves can get

On this, my own Monday shave was a most excellent one, although I did not partake in the Menthol Monday Celebration today, I am afraid.

A great shave! First time I was using the recently delivered Martin de Candre shave soap and I like it a lot. Nice smell, great lather! Nothing else is needed.

My first full menthol monday

a full layer prorasso green post w 2 drops mbomb

Before you say it yes I over did it with the mbomb lol I was squinting the whole shave due to the excessive ammount of menthol. Had a few minor irritation spots in my troble spots but all in all a 2 pass 1 atg 1 wtg
DFS. This was my first shave with the shave den soaps great lather! loved the scent(thank you joanna) reminded me of my much younger football years for sure. My face was so cold after my shave it was like i had a535 on my face but in a very satisfying way. I retired the thin blade (thanks again tucco) after this shave as I have gotten 2 shaves in a row with irritation with it probibly not the blades fault but want to start fresh next shave.

 

Too much mbomb? Noooooo, not at all.
My nose cleared and my eyes teared up just reading your post...

The Ice and a Slice performs brilliantly, smells good enough to eat, and has a great menthol kick. A 2 pass with touchup BBS. Another great start to the week.

I'm a bit disappointed in the soap. I couldn't get a good lather out of it. I did one quick pass and by the time I was finishing up, it had almost completely disappeared from my face. One thing though, it did have a crazy slick agent that had the razor gliding like crazy! Next time I try it I will have to use a boar, and see if that makes a difference.
