I found this razor awkward to use and mild but none the less ended up with a very nice shave.

A splendid shave with the Füme Lavender soap from Turkey - wow, does this stuff ever lather like a champ if you use a good, stiff brush. I love that scent, and not only that - it gives such a comfortable and relaxing feeling. The 444 balsam and Alt Innsbruck are so icy! ;) :D

This morning I decided to try my Feather plat injector blades. They are fantastic! Super smooth, super sharp, they got rid of my 4 day growth like it was nothing! It was a great 3 pass DFS+ shave this morning.

Needless to say, the only ad thing about this morning is needing to go to work.

    Have a great day everybody!

    Soak Brush/Semogue SOC Boar Bristle
    Warm Scuttle Schwarzweisskeramik XL
Musgo Real Glyce Lime Oil Soap
    Cella ss
    Fatip Grande/Astra SP (1)
    Cold Water Rinse
Monster Block Alum (Clean hardware, software, police area)
    Cold Water Rinse
Thayer's WH followed a few minutes later with Barbon splash mixed with a pea sized amount of 444

I guess the Ginkgo isn't working, I forgot to use my Proraso PrePost cream after the Musgo Glyce still it was a great shave. As far as face shaves the Fatip Piccolo and the Grande shave about the same.I only needed 2 passes. The Grande also did a great headshave
I did my usual 1 pass,no touchups were needed. However for headshaves I give the Piccolo model the edge for it's extra weight and maneuverability. For the price you really can't go wrong with either model.

The lather from this soap was much better the second time around. Actually I should say it was more plentiful. I ran out the day before but this time I had just enough for 3 passes. The difference was, I didn't shake the brush out as much and I loaded longer. The lather shown below is what's left after my first pass.

First time with the Rapira Super Stainless. The blade felt smooth until until the last pass. At that point I was feeling irritation, but I suspect it might be the Fume providing the irritation. I also got several weepers on the side of my chin and had to break out the styptic pencil for the first time in quite a while. I'll switch back to the Personna Super "Lab" tonight and see if I get the same irritation. I really like the lather I get from the Fume and I'd hate to have to give it up.

I made it easy on myself today. I'd have had to try *not* to get a DFS with this setup.

Schick type O with Personna Twin injector blade
    Speick Shave Stick
    Omega boar

I'm not really big on "scents", but there are still some I like, and Speick is one of them.
Twin injector blades are a source of disagreement, some people think they don't offer any performance advantage over the regular single blades. My experience is that they improve the shave of some of the later, milder injectors, like the Schick type L and N. I don't have the clogging problems that I've seen reported.

Still, this is not actually better than my 1930s Schick E2 with a "normal" blade.

I don't know what it is with Arko having the product names sounding chilly and end up with menthol amounts that aren't even noticeable, but at least the cream is still very slick and has an excellent scent.
