Really GREAT shave with 'all from TSD' items! Here it is:

    TSD pre-shave balm
    8/8 W&B restored by Glen
Paddle strop (the only 'not from TSD' item in the set)
    Vie-Long horsehair brush
    TSD SOTQ soap
    TSD English Fern aftershave milk

What a nice, pleasant, smooth and slow shave it was! Thanks, JoAnna, and thanks, TSD!

whew haven't had time to post up here in about a week - here's my shave the last couple days:

    Gillette Aristocrat
    Wilkinson Sword (2 today)
    TGN Silvertip Badger
    Speick Shave Cream
    TBS Razor Relief
    Brut Attitude AS

A friend of mine got the Speick and said he couldn't get a good lather out of it so out of 'kindness' I offered to trade him for a tube of Erasmic, which I wasn't really into. Needless to say the Speick lathers great, feels great, and smells great. Been getting great shaves all week. hoo-ha!

I woke up with massive headache, took some pain medicine and went back to bed for another hour. So without any prep, with only cold water, this setup still gave me an excellent shave. Now, if only the headache would go away.

    Tuesday, May 10th:

    Razor: Gem G-bar
    Blade: Ted Pella day 1
    Cream: C.O. Bigelow
Brush: ER 200 with TGN knot
Post: alum, witch hazel, TSD signature

    Horsehair?

    Cella soap
    Bestshave.net Horsehair brush
    Schick E1 injector
    Personna 74 blade (3)

The brush was a kind PIF from Dridecker. A review can wait until I've used it for at least a week; I want to try it with a variety of soaps. Worked well this morning, though. It did its part in another DFS of the injector variety.

Gillette Old Type BRW Improved handle
    Vintage Wilkinson Sword-Edge
    Speick Stick
    Rooney 3/2 Super
    Alum
    Superior 70 Bay Rum

Last time I used one of these blades, I got 15 awesome shaves from it. The shave this morning was marginal at best. It may end up in the bin before the shave tomorrow.

Egyptian Ingram SC :love008 :love008 :anifrozen :anifrozen
Svoboda AS Balsam :love008 :love008 :freezing :freezing
    Aramis EDT

This Ingram cream from Egypt would have been perfect for a Menthol Monday, now that I think of it, but all my creams and soaps need to be used. I cannot believe how smooth and close this shave turned out from a 6 day old Derby, but for tomorrow I'll put in a new blade. ;) :D

First go with a Shark today. Not a bad shave. It probably helps that I used some TOBS...that's probably one of the most consistent creams in my lineup. I always get great, close shaves with that stuff

This was, hands down, the best shave I've had in years. The Derbies really are better for me than the Merkurs. I even felt gutsy enough to try a pseudo-4th touch up pass. All this was even following an absolutely terrible shave from yesterday. I had one little ding on my left side that didn't even warrant a visit from Mr. Styptic. Yeah, hide in your little plastic tube and weep, you jerk.
