Awesome shave.

The Old Type never fails to deliver. I just wish that TOBS had a bit more glide to it. It feels great on the face, but I had to keep loosening it up a bit. It was most likely my fault for loading the brush a little heavy and not using enough water. Regardless, the skin feels great.

Ahh the simple things are great sometimes, using Williams I do need to add 444 to the mix to counteract the drying affect, but yes, its a good simple refreshing shave!

One day closer to Home Shave!

I have to be up at 0330 to get ready, drive to Green Bay and catch my flight to O'Hare. I will not feel like shaving in the morning.

So, let's shave tonight and get that little bit of grooming out of the way. I sat on the side of the tub, washed my legs real nice and commenced to shaving.

Weepers .. oh how I despise thee! I cannot recall having this many weepers .. EVER. Not when I was using the Personal Touch when I was 9 years old, not when I used a cheap Bic disposable, the Venus, or my first ever shave with a DE! I have had a couple here and there on the front of my shins, but on the top of my thigh, on the back of my calf!! :think002 Nope, can't recall it.

Other than the blade and the blood-letting, the SC and ASB are amazing. Truly, if you have not tried the Tet-A-Tet, you must! Now, I am cleaned up, relaxing a bit before packing up and hitting the sheets. I have a long day of travel tomorrow and I am ready to be home, see Jeff and get some rest before heading back to the Center on Monday.

Ahhh, sounds like the razor never used before isn't a good match for you, nor the unfamiliar blades?

 

The razor was great, I really liked it. The blade, not so much. I won't be using those again.

Unfortunately, the Comme il Faut cream does not give me the pleasure that the other Russian creams do. It lathers very well, but the scent does not please me, and it irritates my skin sometimes. The Eveline gel took care of me very well after my shave.
