    Anniversary Shave
    Before my lovely wife & I skip town for the next 5 days (celebrating 33 years of marriage! :love055::rah: ), I had a fantastic morning shave. This Fon Golden Star Deluxe is a definite keeper—smooth, sturdy and a joy to use!
    MWF lather and a Musgo Real No.3 finish. Fantastic start to the day!

    My admittedly limited experience with TSD soaps allowed me to see the difference between the standard and the lanolin soap. I have been using the standard TSD Tabac and the TSD London for Men lanolin. For me, the lanolin lathered easier, it was thicker but also slicker and it protected better. I wish I knew why and of course, YMMV.

    The Taylor of Old Bond Street Lavender Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #67 synthetic brush. The Gillette Single Ring razor was so efficient that just one pass and touch ups with a Voskhod blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with Thayers Rose Petal WH and then Aqua Velva. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    The only Zoe's soap I used was their Wild Wild West. The lather wasn't bad, but the scent was horrible. This is the only soap I used once and Piff'ed. I might have to try it again.
