After hearing so many good things about De Vergulde Hand shaving cream I had to give it a try. The lather was extremely slick and moisturizing with a nice clean scent. I enjoyed a great shave from my Schick Injector and the Burberry Brit ASB was the perfect finish.

 

I hope this picture gives justice to the beauty of this razor. The shave today was exceptional.

Nice shave with an excellent soap. Finished with some Goldbond Green (.5% lotion) lotion as a balm, which is better than most balms I've used. I, however, prefer Osage mixed with another lotion.

Although my 7 AM blade is just about finished, I was able to do 3 passes, and I got a very good and smooth, comfortable shave. The Arko Aqua gel has a terrific cooling effect, and it soothes my sensitive skin very well, and I love the scent. I wish the Yohji EDT was still available in Canada, but unfortunately, it isn't. (Damn!)

I am amazed how long the Feather blade has lasted...I must be into my 7th or 8th shave with it and it still gives me a DFS. I like the SRD soap as it is glycerin based and leaves my skin feeling great. Boy, it's been a long week, I'm sure glad it's Friday.

A/S: Dickinson’s Witch Hazel/Ogallala Bay Rum, Limes, & Peppercorns

I stayed in a hotel last night, so used my Tech/Speick stick travel combo.The Tech fits nicely, along with a pack or two of blades, in a homemade adaptation of a travel soap container. This was a road trip, so I didn’t have to worry about carryon restrictions. I enjoyed a BBS shave this morning, proving that the Tech is capable of fine performance. I really prefer a longer handled razor but, for travel, it’s hard to beat the Tech for compactness.

The witch hazel and Ogallala splash, as usual, provided a fine finish.
