Yesterday's shave with the NOS Schick Platinum went so well I decided to try it in my Futur. I received another excellent shave and wish I would have bought the entire lot of blades while I had the chance. They are excellent!

I took a week off to let a real nasty ingrown hair on my neck heal up. Hacked everything off this morning in three passes. The results were pretty decent. This was my first time using the German formulation of Palmolive Sensitive. This tube was purchased from my pal, Jordan, over at JoPo's Emporium. It generated a very impressive lather and left my face feeling extremely smooth afterward. No complaints today. None at all.

 

I got to use a couple things for the first time today. My new Penworks 26mm Finest, and a handle I made for one of my 1910 Lather Catchers.

I know I've said it before, but seriously, the greatest shave ever. And for the first time ever, my face got this lovely warm feeling afterwards, no soreness, no menthol, no nicks, no weepers, nothing. Just BBS and glowing. DAMN it feels good to be alive!

My fourth and final day with the Derby Extra. The blade began to pull, instead of cut the whiskers. With this blade I didn't feel any difference compared to my previous Derby's, but heh....... Still 99 to go
