Since I'm still building my collection my neglected week will have to be things that I have neglected to try until now.

Merkur HD with Walmart Personnas(neglected a few days since I got my Gem)
TSD cream Signature Scent(Neglected to try until now, wonderful stuff!)
    Dickenson's Witchhazel
TSD AS Iced Oak Leaves and Acorns(neglected to try until now, sweeter scent than I expected but overall very nice)

I was overly giddy when I saw my package from the TSD store sitting in my front porch this afternoon. I am very pleased with the goodies.

    Good morning Gents.

    Woods of Windsor AS

First time with the Bartex and it harmed my skin a little. I think I have to avoid it.

Super Shave today (dome and face) shaved my head then:
    Hot Shower
    Glycerin Pre-shave
    1908 Gillette Single Ring
    Semogue 2000
    Williams Soap
    WH/Corn Huskers Lotion
    Ivy Club Pour Homme
    Drakkar Noir Knock Off

Very nice shave on both counts. It had been about 2 weeks since I shaved my head so I probably could have clippered it down first but no worries, the single ring attacked the hairs with impunity and rendered my top knot BBS in 3 passess. The face was equally well shorn. I really like this Glycerin Pre-shave and it seems the more I play with Williams soap, the better it gets. Ivy Club (from the Dollar Store) is a great rendition of the classic (Shulton's) Old Spice. Van Morrison on tunes this morning "Into the Mystic" is a great song.

    Tuesday:

    Omega Wooden Handle
    Ming Shi TTO/Derby day 2
    Cerrus-SC
    Lubriderm unscented moisturizer
    Old Spice Classic-AS
    Old Spice-Cologne (Shulton)

A lovely shave today with a very enjoyable German-produced cream, which is really inexpensive. Cerrus smells so nice, and lathers magnificently, it's mentholated, and leaves my skin feeling wonderful. The Old Spice Classic aftershave is also from P&G, but it smells IDENTICAL to the Old Spice cologne from Shulton. ;) :D

    TUESDAY

    Parker 82R
    Crystal
    Kell's Juniper Sage Shave Soap
    Panama Jack Aloe
    Clubman Bay Rum

  14. After the usual 1-2 minute hot towel prep:

scritchy old Rooney badger(very good for soaps)
    1946-47 Aristocrat/Iridium
    Muhle Sea Buckthorn SS
    Muhle Aloe Vera AS
    Storer 'Monk' EdP

Time to bring out this razor again, after neglecting it for a month or so. This type gives me a very close shave, and is one of the more comfortable fixed head razors I've tried. Plus, it's real purty.....heh.

    BBS results,

    Martin

    Razor: Ball handled Tech
    Blade: Regatta Blue
    Brush: Omega boar
    S/C: Kiss My Face Unscented
    A/S: Aqua Velva

Can't remember the last time I used the Tech - the Regatta blades are NOS from the Fuller Brush Co. purchased in an antique shop. They're suprisingly good.

I haven't used any of these items in ages... except the brush

    Gillette Slim Adjustable

    Shavemac 177 Silvertip
    Pre de Provence Shave Soap
    Lucky Tiger Aftershave
    Em's Place Skindicinal Balm

Trying a new soap, so didn't go neglected last night.
    Face: '57 SS w/Astra SP
    Head: Weishi w/Dorco ST301
    Vulfix VS/5 Boar
    Experimental Soap
    Alum
    TSD Bergamot Splash

First pass I made the lather a little thin and had mild irritation. This new soap doesn't hold much water, but I was face lathering and just loaded up a little more for the next two passes and the head shave and the soap worked great. I've been getting BBS on my head and DFS on my face every shave the last few weeks - can't complain about that.

    Razor: Parker 11R Horn Handle
    Blade: Iridium Super
    Brush: Shavemac 22369 Long-Handled Silvertip
    Pre-Shave: Kell's Original Turkish Mocha Pre-shave Soap
    Cream: TOBS Lavender
A/S: Ogallala Bay Rum -Limes & Peppercorns

I have been neglecting creams in general and the TOBS Lavender in particular. I decided to dust it off and give it a spin for today's shave. I used the Shavemac 22369 to bowl lather and produced mounds of cream. I think I have found this brush's particular strength! It is definitely better for bowl lathering than face lathering and seems to favor creams over soaps. In any case, the Parker 11R with a new Super Iridium did an excellent job. The Ogallala Limes & Peppercorns added to the positive experience.

    Good Tuesday morning all...

    '73 Superspeed w/ 7a.m. (4)
    Omega boar
    MB's Dublin Tweed ss
    Thayers Original WH w/ aloe
    Anherb a/s balm
    Speick a/s
    1903 cologne

That 7 a.m. is still working well, this time with some Mama Bear's glycerin based soap. I worked up the lather off the soap and went to the bowl and got my usual 2 plus passes as well as 2 passes for my head. A DFS for sure.
