This was my 3rd shave with the Vision and the 3rd time was definitely the charm. In my previous shaves I thought I was shaving with the Vision on 2 but I actually had it opened more than that. No wonder I was getting nicks. This time I dialed it all the way down and enjoyed an irritation free BBS shave. The beast has been tamed!

Tabac soap is always a favorite and the Musgo Real aftershave felt great. Although this is an alcohol based aftershave, there are oils and glycerin added which makes it fairly moisturizing for an alcohol based aftershave.

Again, 2 passes and exceptional results. I can't really say enough about this razor and its arch nemesis, the Feather AC DX. Equipped with a super pro, either one of these will scare the whiskers right out of their follicles.

Excellent shave. Love modern razors. Arko SS mixed with Old Spice Fresh Lime was a fine superlather, but I prefer Arko on its own.

1) a dollop of TOBS Lemon & Lime lathered up with a
2) Kent BLK2 Pure Badger to soften the whiskers so that my
3) 11/16 Joe Chandler Custom 1/4 grind could finish them off in 2 passes clearing the way for a nice refreshing splash of
4) Acqua di Parma Lozione Tonica after shave

Another fantastic shave. These 1912's will give them every time. Two passes and a touch up of the neck rendered nearly BBS. This was the last of my Aqua Velva Musk so at least for now, the plan to thin the herd is right on course.

Once again, the Super Speed delivered very nicely for me--BBS in just 2 easy and quick passes. This Five Fives cream from Egypt has a very rich and stable lather, a refreshing lemony scent, a good cooling effect, and plenty of skincare.

A slow morning with no work today. a DFS with the Chatsworth /SuperMax but I wonder how long this blade will last considering how it felt today. The Godrej is a fine cream and goes a long way with great cushioning and lubrication. I went with the 444 to continue the menthol theme but decided against the Floid and went with the Lucky Tiger. The Woods of Windsor is a nice change of pace and I'm glad I found a bottle (as it, too, is discontinued).

Every time I use my HD I am reminded how much I like it. I really should use it more often. The Speick shave stick and Shavemac brush produced a nice protective lather and I enjoyed an excellent shave. The Wild Fern was an excellent finish and I will be getting hints of it all day.

Maximilian knows why I am frightened of this razor. It and I have a... history. So I gave it extra, EXTRA respect today, and was rewarded with the greatest shave EVER. Simply glorious. Gotta love the Wapienica.
