Early shave and a late post. Last shave for today's tiger and it's into the razor bank. Enjoyed the Mistral bar soap so much I may leave it out for tomorrow.

Twenty-five degrees outside and the C.O. Bigelow Shaving Cream face-lathered very easily with my Omega Pro 98 Boar Brush and cold water. Two passes with my '47 Gillette Super Speed and Astra SP blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Lemon WH and then Pinaud Clubman after shave. I am clean, smooth, and very refreshed... I was wondering how I'd do with cold water shaves in the fall/winter seasons. So far, so good.

Today's shave -- and tomorrow's, courtesy of NO-Variation NOVember. After 13 days of the same shave setup I am realizing variety is the spice of life. One thing I am learning for sure is that being limited to one razor and one soap is not very exciting.

 

I can hardly wait for December to get here.

First shave with the Slim. Started out @ 1, but halfway the 1st pass I dialled up to 2. 2nd and 3rd pass @3. Nice shave. Tomorrow I'll start @ 3.

Dunno if it's a keeper yet.

 

Tabacstag!
I decided to use my New today because I hadn't used it in a long time. I got a superb shave in all respects. The lather monster churned up the Tabac as usual, making it easy to guide the razor through my stubble. I finished with KFBR and some Tabac cologne. Have a great day!

Back to my Super Speed/7 AM combination which resulted in an absolutely wonderful BBS shave with NO effort whatsoever. The Micro-Touch DE I used yesterday is a very good razor, but it doesn't give the same kind of performance - at least not where I'm concerned. The Vostok cream is more like a croap and it's a an excellent latherer with plenty of menthol power. Its skincare is pretty good as well. The Floid Classic added to the chilliness very, very nicely.

Simple shave with my new TechNew razor. As near as I can determine, the handle and cap are from a Tech and the plate is an early New long comb. Great combo. The Klar's Kabinett soap was amazing again. If it hadn't been discontinued, I believe this barbershop soap could have put ALL other soaps out to pasture. Easy dense lather.
