    Saturday 19 November

I decided to risk it, and I won.

    Palmolive Menthol SC
    Berkley 46, face lather
Gillette Milord, w/ Gillette 7O'Clock Super Platinum Black (D2)
    Alcolado Glacial and Proraso ASB

Well I just felt grungy and I had to shave. I opened the cut on my chin just a little bit with the first pass, but it wasn't to bad I did a quick two pass shave with good results, atleast a DFS. The nick stick sealed up the small cut, and the alcolado glacial didn't burn too bad. A very good shave and I really feel much better. I don't know why a good shave makes me feel better but it does.

Scott, the coffee cup is for you man.

How is it menthol of Godrej if you compared with Proraso , also the Godrej contianing lanolin did you feel that when you shaving ?

The Godrej's menthol is much, much stronger than the Proraso. Also strangely enough, the lanolin in this cream doesn't bother me at all.

    Hope this helps! :)

    Razor: GIBBS Click Pen
    Blade: Super Iridium
    Brush: Semogue Owners Club Badger
    Pre-Shave: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
    Cream: Trumper Coconut
    A/S: Floris Santal

I ended up adopting a SOC Badger brush...I am weak. It looks like this brush will be perfect for face lathering...it has really good back bone, soft tips and excellent flow through. I enjoted an excellent shave followed by a splash of Floris Santal, a favorite.

    Saturday

    Razor: Dovo Best Quality 6/8
    Brush: Omega Boar
Soap: Ogallala Bay Rum Sage & Cedar
    A/S: Royall Bay Rhum
    EDT: British Sterling

Nice, lazy, Saturday shave. I was able to take my time and had a great shave! This was my first time trying the Ogallala shave soap and I'm very impressed. The lather was thick and creamy and the scent was wonderful. I liked it so much, I diverted from my usual Saturday scent and went with the Royall Bay Rhum followed up by a touch of British Sterling.

I'm going to have to send the Morley to Glen. I got talking straights with the owner of the barbershop I go to. Very nice guy. Originally from Cicily. Anyway, he offered to hone up a straight for me. Did I mention I'm going to have to send it to Glen. Sal meant well, he just didn't get the edge on the blade that I've come to appreciate from Glen.

Oh, well. Final results were darn near BBS, though, after a final ATG and touch up pass.
