It was a wonderful shave and a great way to end off this week before starting the next theme week. The soap was wonderful and I simply love the scent! Since I used up the dregs from 3 soaps this week, I felt I could pull this one out of storage for regular use.

Not too much stinging from the AS. I find the Marlborough after shave and the scent from the sea buckhorn compliment each other very well!

OK, so this was my best shave to date, by far.. I love the Provence Sante! I'm going to try the green tea flavor soon. I also love the little 11047, and look forward to this thing breaking in. Also, the Personna Lab is the 2nd blade I've tried, 1st being the Wilkensons from WalMart... HUGE difference for me. The Wilkensons are officially retired to the back of the cupboard. And I've still got about 4 other blades to try! I'll be using the Personna Labs for awhile, though.. I'm not going to change this setup until I get my technique down a bit better... Oh, and this was also my first 2-pass shave.. closer and smoother than ever! I'm making progress!!

That's it, that's the cup. It's like deja vu all over again. Tonight I run the dishwasher before the Giants Game...this will be my first mug used tomorrow.

A great shave, my Gold Dollar is superb certainly one of my better shavers.

Like with all new razors, one needs a spin or two to get used to them. I am not so sure however about my blade choice. The Sharp Edge usually performs outstandingly in most of my razors, closed and open comb. However, the first 2 shaves with this new razor were by far not as thorough and smooth as I am used to these days. First stubble on Saturday started showing after barely 6 hours. It got a bit better on Sunday, but am still not on par with my current favourite, the 11C open comb.
