The SharpEdge performed exceedingly well in the 11C, I perceived it even better then my usual favourites Feather and Astra Superior Platinum. Outstanding shave today, let's see if my new razor can beat this...

 

Thursday made it back home but shave at the hotel before I left shave:

Muhle sure knows what they are doing with razor construction. Between the 89 and the 2011 R-41, I think I am set. I'm not saying I am never going to use different razors, but for me, Muhle products are the top. Both are so outrageous good I can't accurately describe in words how pleased I am with their performance. Both are pretty well accepting most blades, the finish is flawless, deep, and mellow. Classy.

4.75 out of 5 blades. Nearly perfect.

Today was the last shave of this Blue Blade and the first for "The Fat." The blue served me well and ushered the Fat into my life. I realized quickly that MWF needs very little moisture, and it became another victim of the Vulfix 404 Mixed.

It lathered nicely and clung well to my face. My usual shave was completed with much happiness and I couldn't help but notice that the old mug felt a little softer.

The Jagger glided across my face, and then it was time to go to work.

I put the Jagger in a bath of Scrubbing Bubbles, it's first, and selected another 7 o'clock blue for my next blade.

Kropp 6/8 - Vie Long 14832 (Horse & Badger mix) - Tabac - Alum - Aquatonic AS

This is the 1st use of the Vie Long so my choice of soap was as much tactical as anything else; the strong smell of the Tabac adequately masked the "wet dog" smell you get with a new brush.

My thoughts are on the whole very positive. The lather and face feel were good and I've yet to have a brush that hasn't improved with use albeit that can be down to learning how best to use it as much as breaking in.

The shave was excellent as well.

Back to my Super Speed/Rapira combination, and I had a quick, but very good shave. The Nivea cream and aftershave balsam are pretty good - they both leave my face feeling moisturized and soothed. I enjoy the Polo Original eau de toilette a lot. :biggrin:
