DSCF0864.jpg I suffered a Homer Simpson idiot attack and inadvertently originally posted this in last week's thread. Doh!!

    Thursday’s SOTD:

    Prep: Hot shower (of course)

    Soap: Stirling Executive Man

    Brush: Semogue 1438

Razor: A 1955 Super speed delivered via Santa Rufus from the Secret Santa Date Code PIF. Filled with a fresh Feather blade.

AS: Cold Water Rinse, Which Hazel, followed by a dollop of Stirling Executive Man Aftershave Balm.

As always, I can get a great lather from the Stirling soaps. Easily three pass, plus of great rich lather; not to mention the scent.

This is the first shave with the Super speed as it Santa Rufus just dropped it on my doorstep :D Loaded with a Feather, I got a great three pass did a fourth jus for fun , irritation free shave. Yep, BBS to boot! Followed up with a rinse of cold water and witch hazel and finished with a healthy dose of the Stirling balm. Feeling clean, fresh and really blessed.

Went with a travel to Italy shave due to only having one qualifying item. I thought I had two but Bolzano is now a German made blade.

    image.jpeg Razor: Gillette 195 Fat Boy (f1) 1960 (5) (3)
Brush: Fuller Amber Badger 1920s -1940s
Mug: Old Spice 1985 Cobalt Blue
Cream: Geo. F. Trumper's Coconut cream
    Blade: Feather (2)
Post shave: Thayers Cucumber WH, Jack Black balm, Tommy Bahamas St. Barts cologne
Put some Trumper's Coconut into my favorite OS mug. The Fuller whipped up some nice warm lather. My FB is still my favorite razor and as usual, made quick work in 2 passes WTG XTG. A little touchup on my neck ATG on 3 and done. I had enough lather left over for another pass. The WH felt good, nice and cool. After cleanup some JB and when it dried, some Tommy Bahamas St. Barts cologne. Y'all have a good one!

hot shower w/Hugo Naturals Mexican Lime & Bergamot bar soap
    Maggard Lime PSO
Early Gillette Fat Handle Tech (split cap bar) 2+ passes
    Lord Cool Super Stainless (4)
Muhle Sea Buckthorn soap in a mug
    Omega boar
    Thayers Lemon
    T & H West Indian Limes A/S balm

Early shave, late post. Good results for a hurried shave while most were still snug in their beds. This was the fourth shave on this blade and I've been impressed with the performance of it. I've got so many different blades it's not surprising I've never tried many of them so it's been fun to pull out a newbie and have a good run with it. I've got half a mind to try a second one.

Nice brush! I have an older two-band CH1 in Super that is the softest brush I own.

I'm fairly certain it's an Aristocrat but I swear all the Gillette flavors/models do confuse me....

After not using anything mentholated for one day I start missing the freeze, so here's my set-up. The older version of Proraso Green soap is pretty cold, with good, stable lather. The Intesa balm is lightly-mentholated and gives a very comfortable feeling - it's available at Italian Barber. Brian's Frostbite aftershave is a fabulous gold medal winner! ;) :D

Both shave were outstanding. Using an injector is like cheating. There is just no effort in getting a great BBS shave.
