Iced Barbasol Brisk? Do they sell it iced now, or did you suply your own ice?

 

I added menthol crystals.
I got them from TSD shop.
I put about ten little chucks in each smaller a/s bottle, more in the bigger ones.

Haven't posted in a while, been busy between school and work. Most of my shaves are a bit utilitarian lately. Creams for speed, wtg and atg and out the door. Found the Wind Song Acres aftershave at a local craft show. A bay rum scent that I actually like!

Had such a great BBS shave yesterday I decided to repeat again today. Added a little M Bomb to make an even better Menthol Monday.

 

They have been a pretty good blade so far.

My routine this month has become WTG on the first pass and ATG on the second pass. I have more control of the razor going ATG rather than XTG. DFS+ shaves have become the norm, with slightly better results when I take extra time. I still require a lot of touch ups around my mouth, chin, and under my nose. Duration between shaves is about 36 hours, as I've been alternating between morning and evening. Shaves with this set up have been very good, but they require a great deal of concentration. I'm convinced that a two-pass BBS is achievable with more practice.

This European version of Gillette Menthol cream is also no longer available and I was lucky that I was able to buy a tube from Italian Barber. It's so much better than the also discontinued Lebanese version because it has a nicer scent with better skincare, although both creams are equally cold and both have the same excellent lather. The Lucky Tiger a/s cream is so cooling, moisturizing, and soothing with a great barbershop-like scent. I'll always have the Skin Bracer in my aftershave rotation!

The Tabac Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #27 Silver Tip brush. Two passes with my Gillette Super Adjustable razor and an Astra Super Platinum blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Rose Petal WH and then Aqua Velva after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
